This is the second review I’ve ever written. Purchased almost 2 thousand worth of google home products and could only connect a fraction of them due to this application. Baffled on how this is acceptable.

This is absolutely horrible!!! It keeps on freezing or making crazy noises then taking forever to restart!! I’m very disappointed with this purchase. I will be looking for another device that does the same from thing that has nothing to do with Google.

The new “Nest” thermostat no longer has a temp range lock like previous generation did. Huge disappointment. Bought a new one for new home and no longer have a feature to keep kids and maid from turning temps to ungodly temp swings. Software update and have a temp range lock with pin code like they did previously.

If you’re going to force people onto the Google Home App, at least have your ‘ish together. Worst integration ever. Can’t see Thermostats together anymore. Nest Hello doesn’t work unless you upgrade. Some random software update messed connectivity up last year. Doorbell chime doesn’t work. They sent us a new one bc they said a software update shot the old one. On and off connectivity. Added a camera and was forced onto this app which is incomplete and NOT user intuitive. Wish they had never bought Nest. GOOGLE HAS DOWNGRADED THE ENTIRE NEST PLATFORM AND RUINED IT AT THIS POINT!!!

It’s not as good as it seemed, very bad communication barrier, turns on with out being spoken to and plays advertising, the home app set up is not good, some tech features crash out repeatedly
Unbelievably Difficult to Set Up for such a simple product

This god forsaken device continually gives me trouble setting up. I am fairly familiar with technology at this point in my life, yet nothing has been more difficult than setting up the Google Home Mini speaker. Interface on the app is horrible. Want to remove a device? Good luck! Want to connect to a new wifi network? Not a chance, little bro! This app is useless. I want to use this thing as a speaker yet can hardly set it up. Brutal user experience.
Doesnt work for google nest

I bought the $129 google nest from lowes. The nest says to use google home to setup the device. Used google home and it said to use Nest app, downloaded nest app and nest app said to use google home for that nest device. Blaming google because the nest belongs to google.
