Google drive and the related apps are amazing because they let me share — in real time — documents with colleagues, friends and family. I’ve used it for everything from revising documents with multiple approvers (awesome for version control!) to planning vacation activities in Google Sheets. Everything is available from any device, any time I need it. Can’t say enough good things about it.

While teaching middle school it was a fantastic to use with my writing students. I was able to share, support and monitor their work in real time to support writing skill acquisition. It made all the difference!

Drive is just ok

I would think that Google could make it simple to use online storage. It is cumbersome to use Drive. And I have to wait for Drive that is in my File Explorer on the computer to catch up to what is online.

I can use it, for my book I’m writing. And download everything, including my Medical Records. It’s Great.
Rename function

After renaming a file , the app does not change the type .(IE., from .DOC to .txt....the app still recognizes it as a word file)
