Seriously buggy

-In app support is broken -offline mode is a dead end -how do I cancel my subscription from inside the app? Cool concept but YogaGlo seriously needs some software improvements!

Amazing for home practice

TGuids

I’m a yoga teacher and have struggled for years to find a way to keep my home practice up. Yoga Glo has made it so simple to continue to challenge myself in my practice while also learning from incredibly talented instructors. This app makes a home practice enjoyable and effortless, from newcomers to seasoned yogis.

Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, it’s worth it.

This is probably the most expensive yoga app on the App Store. And, in my mind, it’s absolutely worth it. The criteria I’m using here are variety of classes and the quality of those classes with overall app experience a somewhat distant third, unless it’s unusable. Yogaglo has every other app beat in terms of quantity, especially for classes that are useful for a newb like me. I can actually do the level one classes in this app, unlike any of the others I’ve tried (and I’ve tried so many of them!). The competition seems to assume I’m in great shape and can stand on just my fingertips or bend backwards and rest my palms on the floor—and that’s for the alleged beginner classes. Yogaglo is different; its beginner classes actually work for an overweight guy like me who sits way too much (... they even have a whole collection of classes precisely to address that!). The classes clearly list the required props. No more starting a class, really enjoying it, and then hearing the instructor reference a prop I don’t have. And this is just one of the things I like about the classes themselves. They’re not rushed, they allow students to actually get the benefit of the poses—particularly for the slower, deeper yin classes (a yoga app with yin classes? I’m as surprised as you), this is the whole point. The instructors give clear instructions for substituting common props and making alterations for poses that are beyond what a student can do. This is the kind of instruction people go to classes for, so getting it when I can’t make it to class is worth the price in my mind. Overall, Yogaglo is a polished, professional experience, with the largest library of classes on the App Store. The price reflects that. Maybe for advanced students a cheaper option with less guidance would work better, but for those of us who still have a bit of trouble with downward facing dog, Yogaglo has just the right level of guidance. Just like one’s practice, it’s not perfect and there are things to improve. I’d love a way to search for programs (themed collections of classes) using the same powerful filtering I can use for individual classes. There are a few UI bugs, particularly around enabling offline mode where the navigation button to go back to the main menu disappears. It’s a great start, and with a little bit more polish would be better still. Perhaps something for the developer to lobby Apple about: if I do a class with my Apple TV, I’d love to track the class on my watch and write the data for it to the Health / Activity apps. This way I won’t need to start it on my phone and AirPlay every time. Again, just that little bit of polish to make an already great experience even better.

Lovely and delightful

Great app and affordable classes! It's well organized, easily searchable, works on Roku, iPad, and iPhone. I especially like the variety of classes and times offered. I always have many options to suit my needs.

Perfect for me

Emdux135

I have practiced yoga intermittently for 6 years. Recently, I have had some serious lower back pains so I wanted to get back into yoga. Combining physical therapy with a change in career and being a parent, I have found it difficult to attend yoga classes in my nearby studios (not to mention a tight budget). I love the fact that I can do 20 minute sessions before work and a quick yin class before going to sleep. This is what I need right now and it's perfect for me.

YogaGlo App Greatly Improved!

Jade-Sen

I've been using YogaGlo for 3.5 yrs now. I'm very impressed about how much better this YogaGlo app functions versus the previous app and earlier versions of this one. It's much easier to use, I have not lost any of my offline classes (a big problem previously), and I love that you've added the filtering option to my practice list (this has been a big improvement for user ability). I now use the app more than the website, which was absolutely not the case in the past. Thanks for all the hard work to make this app better than ever! Namaste!

Superb Customer Service

DaynaW3990

I am 52 and joined Yogaglo 2 years ago. I love the variety of classes and skill levels, the convenience of doing them at home at my schedule, and the ability to vary the classes I take depending on my health, energy and mind set. My interaction with Customer Service has been positive and responses immediate. I have used other Yoga apps but the search feature on this site makes it easier to use. I also like the apps ability to show classes offline when I travel.

Love this app

Perfect for my home and away from home practice. This recent update has solved any irritation I previously experienced with it. Functions exactly as I would like it to.

Excellent place for yogis

YogaGlo is the perfect solution for me as a yogi and traveler. The app is easy to navigate and the teachers themselves are some of the best. Couldn't recommend this more. It's been a part of my daily practice for over 3 years and I'm so glad to have it.
