Glassdoor is an excellent way to research companies. You can find more information about companies in one location here than anywhere else I’ve seen. Glass door is unique and pretty awesome!

The app does not search for my area requested sometimes rather it keeps on doing a nationwide search. The app also decides to lose all saved info once leaving the app and coming back to it. LinkedIn, and Indeed save your spot, it’s very annoying to have to redo the search again then not having it search the right area
Works well - Decent layout and Easy to navigate

Regular notifications of jobs when alert created. Sometimes the emails can be a bit much but other times it’s a good motivator and keeps you keen on the jobs available. I haven’t actually applied to any jobs yet.. but I might update or submit a new review when I do. So far so good.
Negative reviews blocked - do not trust this company

My review of my former employer got blocked and denied. I posted about firings of covid whistleblowers, the executives abusing their power and nepotism in a govt funded non profit and the Glassdoor admins denied the review 50+ times. Yes I edited it to abide by their rules 50 times and it was never enough for them. Be suspicious of all the relatively positive reviews, they don’t allow negative ones.

The app is generally good, but I’ve been having issues with glitches. When I’m scrolling through company reviews the app suddenly jumps back up the page. It’s not a huge problem, but it gets really annoying to figure out where I was every time.
Buggy Login Persistence

Every time I open the app, it acts like I’m not logged in. When I try to log in, it bugs out after entering my email and doesn’t ask for my password. I have to force close and try again until it works. I’m looking for iOS dev jobs and it’s ironic to have so much trouble with an app that’s supposed to help with that.
The job search function is horrible

Seriously. It is so hard to search for jobs in a specific area. Even if you manage to make it look for jobs where you want it to, don’t go out of the app to answer a text or anything, because the jobs will be all across the country when you get back. Just absolutely infuriating to use.

Since downloaded and using this app, I feel like I’m very much connected to job opportunities. The notifications sent are extremely appreciated. I highly recommend this app.
