If you happen to tap on a ghost outside the photo radius, you'll see a three second preview and then the photo will lock till it expires. To unlock, tap the "Get Directions" button to find it for free or use two Ghosty Points. Collected photos are yours forever, even after they expire. Discover curated photo spots (red ghosts) as well as special deal ghosts (green ghosts)!
When ghosting your own photos, you have three options:
1. Let anyone see it
2. Limit to a few friends
3. Limit to one special person - one-to-one ghosts are super private and only you and that lucky person can see that photo!

I've had quite a fun time playing with Ghost Town and love dropping "ghosts" (photos) all around town. These are photos I'd take anyway but now I can share them with whoever I choose and pick up others' ghosts along the way - just like a scavenger hunt. There are some deals that are discover-able in map view at places like Headline Shirts and Society6. Yes, you can upload from Instagram too. One cool feature - you can open up map view and zoom in to see ghosts bobbing all around you - makes it easy to know where the great photo spots are from scenic overlooks to giant roadside attractions.

This is a clever and fun way to share photos. For real. Post and collect shots from people in your network in your favorite places. You can even collect images from strangers and share your own with anyone! It's packed with game elements too, so an all-around great way to learn about new places and have fun doing it. As a designer I also see this as another way to collect some unique images for my projects.

Great Idea, but...

This is a great idea but I have found two issues. First being, nobody uses it in my area! Although, if this app grows, that'll be fixed over time. Second issue is that sometimes the map gets a bit laggy, but not unbearably laggy and not too often.
