Notes:
• GEGO utilizes GSM/GPRS/WiFi Technology to triangulate the location of your luggage and then shows you the image on the Map View in your App.
• GEGO also comes with a Bluetooth feature that allows you to have peace of mind while waiting at the luggage carousel, detecting your GEGO when it is in range.
When I look to see where my GEGO is located it might show me the current location but when I check on it later it showing the same location when I know for a fact it has changed. It sometimes shows that same location until I am actually right where my GEGO is at. Also the battery does not last like they say it does. NOT VERY SATISFIED AT ALL.
If I could choose zero, I would. The GEGO unit became disassociated with the app over 2 weeks ago and to date GEGO support has been no help whatsoever. No phone support, only email and they keep asking dumb questions that is not fixing the issue.
I spend six months a year traveling the world and I have tried many different trackers, but this one is the best by far. It works flawlessly and has an incredibly long lasting battery. It is accurate and you can easily set it up to send messages to your phone if you want. My wish was to find a well designed product that would tell me where my luggage is located if my airline screws up. Gego is the ultimate solution.
Gego is much better than the preview device LugLoc... history and proximity detection features work perfectly.
As the title states. The GEGO is late at displaying the location. It would only show usually the previous 12 to 14 hour location. Also with the Bluetooth I’ll see my luggage on the carousel before it notifies me. Honestly I really miss the LugLoc over this New GEGO. I hope you can address the latency of the device’s location to display it’s present location rather than the previous one.
Maybe my device was a dud but I fully charged it for a 12 day trip. On my return my flights were delayed and my bags were lost and the charger ran out before the airline found them, bags gone. My second GEGO works fine but the battery is dead 10 days after a full charge, in the battery saver mode. Absolute joke, lug loc was way better
After having my luggage lost by an airline for 6 days while visiting Italy I learned my lesson. Gieco goes with my bags T all times, I have even told the airlines they forgot one of my bags at another terminal in Heathrow. Needless to say they wanted to know how I knew. Proudly I said Geco of course!!
Thank God the airline didn’t lose my luggage! The app is SUPER SLOW. There was a guarantee of at least a 30day battery life. I’m halfway in and i already have to charge the device. The app won’t let me send comments so I can’t get ANY SUPPORT. This thing is useless. I had high hopes....but lesigh.
I use Tile for short range like keys and remote but I always wanted something for when I’m more than 30 ft away. Alexa integration is cool!
Enough of a delay in product release so extra time for app development, during setup app accessing back end was slow as molasses, ApplePay failed time and time again and finally had to manually enter CC. Brand new unit charged right out of the box yet app shows battery at 0%, "device battery empty charge now..." Filling in location name on iP X field completely disappears so you can't see what you're typing. A long time LugLoc user, I expected a much better experience...
