I love this app so much and I use it all the time, but I'm a real big fan of live instrument sounds. In my opinion I think that on the next update this app should have some Latin instruments and maybe some Alto, tenor, and bari saxophones. It would be good for people to would want to make different varieties of music like jazz or cumbia/salsa.
Too many BUGS and ISSUES lately on iOS 11 version!!!

Some dumb issues introduced lately into this wonderful app are diminishing its value. The Glissando/Scroll/Pitch button is GONE from instruments for NO reason! Try grand piano or fifties sci-fi instruments and the GSP button is gone. In projects saved with instruments set to Pitch still play in pitch mode but there is NO way to set newly added instruments to pitch mode as they are defaulted to glissando and the GSP button is missing. In Drummer, if I select Tambourine, Shaker or Clap - these do NOT sound after a while of composing the song and using GB - even though these individual items show as selected. Trying to unselect and re-select these items does not work either. Not sure how many other individual drum items are not sounding after some time like the above ones. Some instruments are showing the SAME octave keys on dual keyboards with no way to set the upper keyboard to a higher octave than the one under it. Switching to next/previous octave scrolls both keyboards and giving us same octaves! What is the use of 2 keyboards having the same octave keys?? At times, switching to Major, Pentatonic and going back to None, MESSES up the keyboard layouts on dual keyboards. Alchemy synth - please release all sound packs/presets of Alchemy for those who PURCHASED them in-app in Alchemy Mobile app before it got acquired by Apple. For instance, I have purchased several sound packs - big tone, dance trance, cinematic, etc from Came Audio who made the Alchemy Mobile app but the synth (now discontinued by Apple and incorporated inside GB) includes only a few of its sound presets. The new Beat Sequencer has flashy, candy colors that make it look CHEAP and not in sync with the colors of the rest of the app. What were you thinking? Whose brilliant ideas was it??Just stick with the cool and soft colors of GB and you are golden. While playing back a recording, the keyboard/drums/etc do NOT ANIMATE the played keys and so we are staring at a dumb keyboard that does not show which keys are played from the song. How difficult is it to animate keys/pads/etc? The currently played keys should animate as depressed/highlighted as the song is playing. Just look at Cubasis, FL Studio, etc - their keys animate during playback. Apple could do MUCH BETTER with animation. Apple - do more testing of your apps before releasing them. I’ll give 5 Stars after you fix the above dumb issues.

I would like if you guys fixed the crashing whenever I open the app. I can’t go to one of my creations without the app crashing. Please fix.

Very good in general, drum step editor needs work recording.

I’m impressed overall with the app’s capabilities, however, the step editor, when recording in 6/8 behaves like it still thinks it’s in 4/4 when you try to record a second beat after the first few bars. To reproduce, set time in 6/8, tempo at 72, create a basic 6/8 1 measure beat in the drum step editor and record it for 7 measures. Stop recording. Then, change the step editor to make a fill and try to record that in measure 8. You can’t. Worse, if you try to set your place to the start of an earlier measure for the count in, it will start recording but it will be off count and sound horrible.
