Broken App

periphium

Connects to camera, but any other function causes the app to error-out or disconnect from the camera.

Works great if u know how to use it

Pro tip: If you shoot RAW + JPEG, it’s going to make life easier. I shoot on the X-T20 and until recently shot strictly RAW. I think the files being so big would bog down the app, making me able to only seldom browse my camera or send photos to my iPhone (iPhone 8 mind you). Then I started just shooting JPEG since the Fuji files are OH so nice!.... and I noticed I could transfer them a lot easier :) Then to experiment, I shot RAW + JPEG, and to my delight, I was still able to transfer photos and browse camera no problem. Of course all I can say is that it made all the difference for me, and I have been happy ever since Note: IMO, if you need to get files to your phone for instant posting, it’s not imperative that you use RAW files. You can still edit the JPEGs with mobile apps, and it makes life easy

Utterly useless for anything but remote control

Unclemonte

A disaster of an app. If you’re willing to go through the tedious connection process, the remote is kind of cool, but it disconnects when switching between modes. Use the remote and want to send a couple of pics to your phone? Sorry. Disconnected. Start over. Send the pics and want to look at a few more? Disconnected. What a useless app. Big fail, Fuji.

Useless with Non-Bluetooth cameras

magnus919

So incredibly slow. I have multiple Fujifilm cameras. Multiple iOS devices. The only camera that works well with this app is the X-E3. For some reason the X-T2 and X-100F WiFi is too slow to be used for even getting previews off my SD card. If I even get that far, downloading a single image takes over one minute. I’m not sure how much of the blame lies with the app vs the camera hardware vs camera firmware (which, I should add, is up to date). Such a terribly unfortunate part of an otherwise beautiful camera system. So bad for so long, no fix in sight.

Not connecting with ios 11. Please Fix!

Elle Louie

I love this app! So convenient for transferring photos via WiFi from my X-T1. But ever since I switched over to my iPhone X, it won’t connect. Is this a bug that can be fixed?

Just doesn’t work

Won’t connect to camera. Followed all instructions. Miss my Nikon app, that just worked.

A junk app

eripor

Bad connection with iPhone. The percentage of successful connecting to iPhone is about 1-2 out of 10. It’s The worst using experience than any other apps I have used. It’s a junk app.

Could be amazing, falls far short

Icecreamguy2

There is, and has been for several years, great potential for this app. But it’s just terribly designed and clearly not tested by photographers. Major complaints - the camera asks for approval EVERY time you connect. HOW HARD IS IT TO HAVE THE CAMERA REMEMBER YOUR PHONE?!? So now if you are tethered and you go climb a rock or something and get disconnected, you have to go all the way back to the camera to reconnect. Absolutely idiotic. If i forget to set the camera AND lens to autofocus prior to starting the tether on the camera - sorry, have to restart your camera and reconnect to get tap to focus. Tip - there is a bug in the browse module - downloading files via the playback section of the remote control module is 10x quicker. I could go on but I won’t. 100% necessary for most fuji shooters, but still a horrible app.

Worked once.

sammorris

Really having a hard time here, guys. It worked great once, but now it says the camera is “processing” and can’t connect. Very unhappy right now. What a piece of absolute crap. How can a company that makes such great cameras make such crappy apps?!!
