What is Currency Strength?
Currency strength is a unique way to assess price action in the Forex market. Instead of watching individual Forex pairs, currency strength measures the strength of an underlying currency.
This gives important insights into the forces at play causing a move in a particular Forex pair.
For example, if GBP/USD is breaking out to the upside, currency strength can be used to determine if the move is due to GBP strength or generalized USD weakness. If it's due to USD weakness, there might be trading opportunities on other USD pairs.
Currency strength is calculated using our own propriety algorithm. We first introduced this is 2011 with our first generation currency strength meter. The algorithm has been refined over time to enhance it's accuracy and responsiveness to changes in market conditions and has proven popular with traders.
This App uses the same proven algorithm but with even faster refresh rates and lower latency.
Currency strength is displayed in either bar or chart form and is measured for 8 currencies : USD (US Dollar), EUR (Euro), GBP (British Pound), JPY (Japanese Yen), CAD (Canadian Dollar), AUD (Australian Dollar), NZD (New Zealand Dollar) and CHF (Swiss Franc).
The standard App supports 4 time-frames (4-Hourly, Daily, Weekly and Monthly).
An optional Data Booster Pack adds 15-minute and 1-hourly time-frames. This is available as an In-App purchase subscription, and can be accessed on all of your IOS devices.

This app is so great! Eventhough you can get currency meter free for MT4 on your desktop, it is very difficult to get this while you are on mobile. This app fulfill my needs. $9.99 is fair enough especialy with further additional feautures in the future... my only inputs are: - Put world market index to get correlation of market overview (such as DowJones, etc) - Enable this app for iPad as well (with big screen capability of course :D); and please dont the app between ipad and iphone, because this app is quite high enough :) Please implement my suggestions soon before your competitors do :) Well done!
The best, easy to use Forex Strength App

I came across this App about 2 years ago after having some technical issues with PC based Strength Meter.In addition to this App I have also purchased another one from iTunes AppStore to get the same information. I have been using this Forex Strength Meter from QM4 Designs since then, mainly due to its server reliability and ease of use. The strength bars update automatically, as well as the corresponding numbers of the strength on the side. Usually I let it run at the 4-Hour tab. It has been very helpful for entering a new position. Also, the customer service was very responsive when I had an issue with my older iPod which can not be upgraded to the latest iOS 6. They made sure that the server is backward compatible to the older iOS 5.1.1. so I can keep using my iPod Touch for the time being. By the way, I was using this App all over the world during my travel. Keep up the good work!

This is a very good app especially for mobile. I like that you can add time frames for a decent price. Now that it works so well, I want more, I'd like this app to have push notification alarms for when there are cross overs or when currencies reach certain strengths. Please add that and this would be a truly amazing app!! Also if you could make this available for desktop as well, that would be even better! Thanks!
