Don’t lose anything on a Delta flight
No IPAD for you
I left my IPad in the seat pocket after a long international flight. Delta contracted out lost and found to a contractor that gives you 14 days to claim your property before they auction it off. The online Delta App doesn’t allow you to write a complaint for the return of your goods. Safari doesn’t allow you to go to the actual Delta website. It defaults to the mobile view only. The 800 operator sends you to airport lost and found that doesn’t deal with left items on planes. After three days of trying to find who else to contact, a lucky internet blog search turned up the lost and found contractors contact info and the lost goods claim form, neither of which was available from Delta directly. It takes them at least a week to discover if they have your goods. They also expect you to have your device serial numbers handy.

Charging for choosing a seat when booking early and then giving you a terrible seat for not wanting to pay $50 a seat is criminal. Horrible and unfriendly policy.

I remember when all the systems were not integrated and it was a mess. Then came the fateful day when there was widespread computer crashed. Delta promised to fix it and fix it they did. It has become easier and easier to check in and get back to my boarding pass in time for TSA and onboarding. Thank you! Promises made. Promises kept. #integrity
Best Airline App

Delta has, by far, the best airline app. I travel frequently for work and am a Gold member and will seriously take a longer flight with Delta rather than fly another airline. It’s smooth, shows all the information I need in 1-2 screens and is packed with cool features. Additionally, the bag tracking feature in the Delta app is ??. Getting notifications of where my bag is and if it was loaded and the which carousel it was unloaded on is extremely convenient. Love Delta and love the app.
A step back -please fix this app

I have been using the delta app since it first came out. Some “updates” are actually a step back and rolled out with bugs. This latest one is clearly in this category: when I checked in, first of all my passport information was lost, then only the first leg of the trip showed. After restarting the app, my trips was empty and I had to enter the information back reservation number (it used to work smoothly before). The second leg showed but this time without seat information. When I wanted go check in to the DTW SkyClub, the boarding pass was displayed with the 2D barcode way too small to scan (but only for the second leg of the trip) so I had to pull the paper boarding pass... please fix this app quickly-I use it a lot. iPhone 6S, IOS 11.4 (15F79)
