Where are the lovely pictures?

I'm a FlipPix addict and have purchased many of these games. One of the things I have enjoyed is the lovely artwork but this game is a disappointment. The pictures are dark and unattractive and the puzzle elements either disappear into the darkness or don't settle in to become part of the scene.
