Morse code is a method of transmitting textual information as a series of on-off tones, lights, or clicks that can be directly understood by a skilled listener or observer without special equipment. The International Morse Code encodes the Roman alphabet, the Arabic numerals and a small set of punctuation and procedural signals as standardized sequences of short and long signals called "dots" and "dashes" respectively, or "dits" and "dahs".

Morse code app

Sorry for last review without rating. App needs to be able to turn sideways for use with my iPod touch keyboard. Add a bigger window down below that shows the letter and the morse code by itself for learning the code. E -

Love it
Dezotl

Love that the LED turns on before the app is fully loaded!!! Morse code is a neat touch too. Thanks. Using iPhone 4s

Well,this APP is useful,isn't it?

Thanks!

Thanks for the freebie! Only one problem. The cut/copy/paste feature doesn't work properly. I tried to cut to avoid deleting and was forced to repaste to regain typing functionality. I would like to request a feature. It would be great if I could copy and paste the morse code also.

One thing
Jimmy X9876789

Make it so it can receive morse code and translate back. That would be cool!

Clean, simple & elegant!

I did not know I needed it till I had it. I personally use it for the "fast on" (I.e. the LED comes on before the app is even finished loading, which is already speedy!) and easy control of the light (large on/ off button). The morse code stuff is cool too, i am just not that nautical. Great app!

Bad

For those of us who paid for this your answer is don't update you could have done a free one so now I have to deal with ads for a paid app guess you got greedy.

You should come out with a camera app that can read light morse code.
