I really love fishing games, so prepare yourself for my enthusing. When I found this game back in January, I was in a really awful spot emotionally. This game was really comforting and distracted me from a lot of wallowing in my bad thoughts. I had been searching for a fishing game on the App Store on a whim: I’ve always liked fishing games, even the stressful ones. Animal Crossing, in Pokémon for shinies, and various farming games. Fantasy Life (3ds) and one you can buy with Miis on Streetpass app for the 3ds always come to mind, but with streetpass being a thing of the past, I was kind of aimlessly searching, not thinking I would find anything. I saw the cute pixel art for the icon and impulsively clicked. I am so grateful I did. This game is one of the best fishing games I have ever played. It manages to be engaging AND calming consistently. Fantasy Life is the only one to achieve this balance as well in all the other games with fishing I’ve played. There’s none of the harrowing punishment for clicking too early and beating yourself up about it. I’ve played so many fishing games with that being the case: it’s so refreshing to see a new take on it. Even if fishing games aren’t typically something you like (for my friends it’s usually the stress factor), everyone I’ve made play this game loves it and usually plays more of this Devs stuff. The writing so good I cried, the beautiful pixel art, the character dynamics, and the world building, on top of the already top notch game mechanics? Yes! Being the fishing freak I am, I have not branched off to the Developers other games as of writing this just yet, but I really want to play Bears Restaurant! My friend really loved it and wants me to. Apparently it’s very emotionally intense so I’m trying to steel myself for it, haha. Thank you to the small developer team that made this wonderful game. It might sound silly, but this game helped me stay calm during a really rough time for me. Being able to load it up and fish for a bit helped me slow down my emotions and think. The story itself was very touching as well, as I felt really alone when I found this game. Especially with this time being as difficult as it is, I am still finding a space of peace in this game. Thank you so much!

I really love this game and I hope I find the spirit fish.The music is so relaxing and I love the characters it’s such a cute game thanks Daigo.?????????????. For some reason I didn’t play fishing Paradiso for a long time but when I finally did the magic came bag and the storyline is awesome.? ?????????I finally caught the god fish and you know how he would give you anything you want I said if I were him I would of chose to get all the stuff maxed out?but that wouldn’t make the game fun wouldn’t it. ;) and the cat was Wright I can listen to the music all day. Thank you so much for making this game.Thank you Thank you. Thanks every body for making this game. I hope you guys are making other games like this one.

Well The game keeps crashing and I deleted it and downloaded it again to see if it would happen again, and it did. That’s the only thing. I can’t even go into the game now

This game simply consumed my free time in the past few days. It’s so charming, pretty and fun! I just reached the end and I can’t help but feel sad about it. The story is very sweet and I liked how I got to gradually form deeper friendships with each character. My only issues would be that some of the dialogue felt a bit excessive(the whole Johnny arc felt very, very tiring and stretched out) and the rocket arc was way too quick. I had barely started playing, and suddenly there’s a rocket and all the characters(who I just met) are treating me like a super close friend? These issues are minor, though, and are mainly a matter of refining the narrative. I still enjoyed the story regardless. The fishing mechanics are very simple, and I must say I really liked how fast the worms fill back up. I always groan at games that set an energy timer because they are excruciatingly slow, obviously to encourage you to spent real money on it. With this game, however, it only takes 90 seconds for each worm to refill, and that was such a pleasant surprise. Within 20 minutes or so the worm bucket is full. The ads also were never intrusive in the gameplay, and I didn’t mind at all using ads to refill the worm bucket. Unlike most games, there’s no limit to how many times you can watch ads to do that, and it really made fishing more fun. With all this, It feels like the dev team really cared about the product they made and put a lot of passion into it. There were no pay to win mechanics and no push for micro transactions at all. I must say, you guys really impressed me.

First off, I never write reviews. Like... NEVER. This is my first review haha. Anyways, this game is amazing. I first downloaded because I thought it looks cute. Oh my gosh I did not know what I was getting into. The characters are so well written, I got attached to them IMMEDIATELY. The graphics are beautiful and give me a sense of Pokémon nostalgia. The gameplay is so relaxing it’s like mixing Undertale, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley together. But instead of farming it’s fishing. The music!! Don’t even get me started!! Some of the songs are so beautiful and calming that they put me right to sleep!! And the story is amazing. This is the PERFECT game. I almost cried when I finished it because I loved each and every character so much. Thank you so so so much for making this lovely game. It gave me a sense of safety, calm, and friendship during these days of quarantine. Whenever I play this game it feels like there’s a warm ray of sunshine upon me while I’m fishing on the beach with my Lil Birdy haha. So thank you. Thank you very much for creating something so beautiful. Don’t let those bad reviews get you down because this is a masterpiece. Ah, if only this game wasn’t an app and more like a full console game with more features haha. Anyways. Best game I’ve ever played in my entire life. It brought tears to my eyes. This is coming from a bored 16 year old stuck in quarantine :) ❤️ going to tell everyone I know to play this game now!

I found this game after playing the bear restaurant game, witch is my favorite game! And this game is soooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooood I am going to tell all my friends about both those games!!!!!!!!!!!!!

すごくかっこいい！ this is a really fun game. my favorite characters are bianca & rosa oden cat charon and yuzo. i wonder if this took some inspiration from undertale because charon is pretty much the exact character of papyrus. anyways its a great game and its even better if you play bears restaurant (the full game) first.
