You’re missing out

This game is the FF you’ve been waiting for since FFX. 60+ hour storyline with many more hours of challenging post game content for ultimate gear, tons and tons of replayability with many different viable jobs and party combinations, not grindy but still remains challenging throughout the game, it’s a masterpiece. Storyline is fantastic, leaving plenty of room for imagination like the old school FFs. Battles are fast and fun with just the right amount of depth. If you haven’t played it yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. I replay it twice a year at least and have for 4+ years now. It never gets old.

Not enough health for the amount of attacks

I’m JUST starting out. There are way too many encounters at the beginning and I don’t have enough potions. I ran out while in the first dungeon. Either fix it so it’s turn based or fix the enemies encounter rate. OR give more health. I can’t get past the second level in the mountain dungeon because I keep running out.

Worth the money

This is by far the best Final Fantasy RPG mobile game if you are a fan of the classic nes/snes games. The story is gets a little predictable as you progress through the game but the characters are entertaining and you have all the classic elements such as job classes, spells, weapons and lots to explore. One feature which I️ absolutely love is the “auto battle” which speeds up the battle sequence for your random encounters. It makes grinding and leveling up so much less painful. The one negative thing I️ have to say is that the game takes over and does way too much “talking” and cut scenes for the story progression. Sometimes I️ just want to keep battling and moving forward and instead there’s 10 mins of talking and character interaction. Once it’s over and you move on to the next cave or castle it takes over again. Other than that this game is great and I play it about once per year since it’s so much fun.

Super fun

So many challenges and opponents even after the game!

Play this instead of FF5

It’s a shame that this was the only new mobile FF that’s an actual game and isn’t built around micro transactions like Brave Exvius and Mobius. This game is almost identical to Final Fantasy 5 in its art style, use of the job system, and unoriginal plot but at least it doesn’t take itself too seriously and can still be appreciated for its campiness. This time you have two parties, the Warriors of Light and Warriors of Darkness, each receiving different jobs that cause them to be developed quite differently. And this game is hard. Set ATB to active, crank the battle speed all the way up and prepare to die multiple times to bosses just like the good old days.

4 stars would play again

This game is great! Bings you back to the OG FF. There are some bugs here and there and of course crashes like your typical mobile game even though it’s not frequent. The thing is there is only one problem: there is a bug where you get stuck in certain areas and you do the walk animation but you don’t move. I’m not sure if it’s just my phone or if others have had this problem. Other than that pretty good game compared to FFXV pocket. It’s addictive and like your old final fantasy, will have bosses you’ll need to to grind to be 26 levels higher than anyone else in your party to beat it.

Huh. Not bad. Pretty good. Actually, really good

So, this is quite fun to play. The overworld theme is nice to listen to, the character sprites could’ve been better, but it really gives off that ff vibe. Just like ffV, it has the highly praised job system, but it also has the new fusion ability mechanic where you need two specific abilities to learn a new skill. This includes stuff like magic missile, Aqua breath, and others. The story is decent and the battles are challenging. Worth it.

Prologue was great. Only problem so far is the way the exp shows after a battle. It's a little confusing and hard to tell how much each person is actually getting from each battle, which is important if you want to focus on leveling a certain person being that it seems like each character gets different amounts from certain types of monsters. Otherwise great game and I'll be purchasing the full game as soon as I can. FF8/FF9 for mobile...I seriously cant believe you people are slacking on this. It should've been in the works years ago, as well as more games like the old Nintendo ones. Hop to!

This is not a complete game, this is a demo. Are you kidding me?

Its okay...

Not the best Final Fantasy game, but it is better than Final Fantasy Dimensions II.
