Wont load past start screen

Have been playing this game for a looong time and love it. It does take a long time to max characters but I am fine with that i don’t need instant gratification. The game play is awesome and has plenty of events and new characters to keep things interesting. Only problem is since the latest update I cannot even play the game. I press the start game and it acts like it is loading then just sits there at the welcome screen. Please fix asap!!

I loved FFT WOTL, Have played the game through once a year since I was a kid. I’ve been looking for a game similar to it and this is spot on. What kills me is that you have to pay to play. Square Enix please make this right for all FFT lovers! The rest of the game is amazing and beautiful and I’m enjoying the story very much but I can tell I’m going to hit a wall pretty soon, which turns a lot of players off. Remove the difference between paid visions and free. I’m definitely not paying 40 bucks for a slim chance of limit bursting my units.
Too different from FFT in all the worst ways

Where FFT had a unique art style and some anime tropes, WOV is much closer to full-on weeb. Where FFT had a highly customizable job system with lots of freedom, WOV is more limited. Where FFT was a complete game, WOV is clearly a mobile only game jammed with as many opportunities for microtransactions in a clunky menu system (there are good ways for a mobile game to do microtransactions). To summarize, WOV is too far of a departure from FFT for me to enjoy.

As a longtime fan, I’m disappointed. The game is decent enough if taken for what it is. But everything else is disappointing, and you should play prepared to leave with a foul taste in your mouth about the company and its practices. They will attempt to get cash from you in every way imaginable. Update: It’s a little better if you are willing to spend the time still costs a lot. However, for a game that is such a cash sucking game the developer(s) (I think maybe there is more than one?) sure do take a long time to fix glitches/bugs/or address problems. They took a good couple of months to address a graphics error that made users have to rescroll every time they bought something. Currently, the game freezes and crashes pretty consistently to the point many people just give up trying to get in and do anything.
Overall garbage.

People who play these games need no tutorials whatsoever. After the 18th or so tutorial with no end in sight, deleted. I spent more time on the tutorials than the actual game. The game also crashes with no pattern whatsoever; main menu, battle, upgrading characters, even when I shop. Guild battles are FORCED and take place every day at unreasonable times. UPDATE: The iOS version of this game freezes at the title screen more often than not. Unplayable.

There are some problems with the title screen because whenever I start my game it begins to glitch and it stops working so I was that you can fix this problem in the next update

I just farmed and wasted 20K on a Guaranteed UR pull (100% bonus) I opened a support ticket as I got an MR not a UR and their response was cookie cutter reply also they are skewing the lines and making stuff up as they go along so instead of 100% according to the banner it’s really only a 25% chance according to support yet the banner drop rate (details) says other wise , I am in midsts of contacting US consumer protection bureau and trying to get legal representation as this company Gumi is going to be sued I’ll be notifying Square-Enix of my intent as well
Take their time in fixing bugs

Shop bug - took months to fix. Title screen bug - not fixed. Bugs can an inconvenience to the player and should be rectified ASAP - especially with the level of monetization for this game.

This game has brought me much entertainment but this recent update has it crashing mid game and freezing at the title screen very frequently. Update: Now it always freezes at start screen. It’s unplayable for me now.
