Reviews

Very handy. I use it all the time.

I love this app. I'm just beginning to use Evernote and find this to be an invaluable tool. No need to save a pic to a folder or transfer from one device to another, I just snap and move on. I know that I've captured the image and can manage it later. It's not perfect, but I don't want to create artistic photographs, just to capture images I may want to refer to later. It does this very well. I've used this app to snap pics of concert flyers, books I might want to read, products I want to research. I take pics of my prescription bottles so I have the information handy matter where I am. I take pics of my pantry and refrigerator contents before I go grocery shopping. It's an excellent app that i don't want to be without. Good job and thank you! (As another reviewer mentioned, an audio version would be fantastic.)

Extremely fast

A really fast way to get a photo into Evernote. It is just three taps: open app, take photo, tap "use". You can then close the app and the uploading all happens in the background. It even gives you a badge to let you know how many uploads are pending. Solid.

The idea is great.

Things this app does well: Launches fast (for a camera app) Integrates with Evernote well (access to notebooks and tags) Let's you add a title after the photo was taken. My issues with the App: I use fastever every day and love it. There are a couple differences between these apps that need To be resolved for me to love fastever snap. Right now I need to select the photo size, notebook and tags before I shoot the photo, if I edit any of that info I need to reshoot the pic. FastEver lets me do this before or after I write a note. Why is this different?? Seems like you guys have already figured this out but failed to transfer it over into this app. Please update.

Better than I thought it would be!

I was skeptical about this App, but downloaded it because I have been putting lots of photos in Evernote, and I thought if this saves even a little time, it's worth it. It's worth it. I like the fact that you can adjust the photo size, too. And save it to your phone as well as put it instantly in Evernote. Well done!!

Great app

Use this daily when I'm out to snap photos of stuff. Works great. One feature request: ability to postpone sync with EN until I have WIFI. Analogous to EN's sync only over WIFI feature. There are days I am snapping a ton of photos and I wonder how much of my data plan I'm eating through. Many days I'm content to delay sync until I get to WIFI, and would love to be able to turn that on. Thanks for the great app.

Not a secure connection
M_Dad

App connects over port 80 unencrypted rather than encrypted over port 443. Both free and premium Evernote accounts now support secure port 443 connections. With port 443 supper this is a 4/5 star app. Please add and I will happily update my rating. Thank you.

A+ update

Indispensable Tool

FastEver Snap is a must-have for anyone committed to going digital with Evernote. I encounter so much paper in day-to-day life, and this app makes it a breeze to digitize. Also, dev team came through with some super quick fixes after identifying some bugs in last release, and with the fix this seems to be the quickest FastEver Snap yet.

Problem

Latest update solves upload problem but the camera now only shoots at very low res... Cannot find any option to increase resolution.

Best receipt tracking app EVER!
JKL2009

I used to keep and scan receipts one page at a time. I tried taking a photo in EN but the pics were huge and took forever to upload in poor reception areas. Now with a quick click, scaled-down pics show up in my EN receipts folder with the time and date in the filename. Print to PDF. Done. I got worried with this last update. Several receipts which I threw away were stuck and wouldn't upload. I tried to login again, and was locked out completely. The EN team fixed it quickly, and all my receipts have finally uploaded.
