F5 BIG-IP Edge Portal

The BIG-IP Edge Portal™ application facilitates secure remote access to enterprise web applications. This application can bookmark frequently accessed enterprise web applications and automatically authenticate the end-user with BIG-IP Edge Gateway™ and FirePass™ SSL VPN solutions. This application does not provide layer 3 access to corporate resources, but instead provides a layer 7 content rewrite proxy and bookmarks for access to corporate protected web applications.

Good start
ramakolli

Good start. Would like an update soon. Doesn't pull the favorites on firepass portal that already exists. Have to add all those links again and it's a pain. Some links with in intranet portal don't work. It's nice that users can copy/paste links. Would be great if VPN works and links in mail can be opened seamlessly.

This is amazing

Works great, love it! Thanks F5!

Just use safari
Microwsquish

Outside of being able to bookmark, I can everything in safari. Where is the ability to use the app portal? If I could do that i could possibly establish real networking sessions or use RDP/VNC to connect to other systems. Not everything is just web.

Great Concept, I can now set server policies based on this App
jaggertheone

Does exactly as described. As an administrator my favorite F5 Remote Access server can provide added polices over just using Safari when users access my web applications

Please add securid support
Pupo888

Points for having an app but we can't use it without two factor auth support.

Easy access to our intranet

I do not always require a layer 3 tunnel and this is cool!

This too works
Hester Church

Pretty simple to setup. Compatible with Firepass, EdgeGW, and APM.

Technical Documentation Lacking
WriteGuy1960

My observations are that this content is minimal at best, poorly written, poorly formatted, does not contain use-cases, and does not deliver the instructions needed for its intended audience. I believe this to be a very poor representation from what I expect from F5's Technical Publications Team.
