If I could give zero stars I would. Had airline credit and used part of it on a flight. Want to use the balance on another flight. Won’t show my balance. Won’t speak on the phone to me unless I book a flight ahead of time. Rules say you have to use the credit when booking. So frustrated.

You get what you pay for. Every discount through Expedia is never worth the hidden charges and then horrible customer service from the reps that keep hanging up because they don’t want to work or help. Expedia is a horrible company and offers rip off after rip off.

New BUG on Expedia, they do a bot check every time you fire up the app — after you pass that it hangs and fails to recover — not sure who is in charge, but they need to be FIRED !!! How much more badly could someone screw up ??? Old review follows: Im an Expedia Gold user — been traveling constantly since Nov 1, 2020!! The app usually works fine. I had a potential change in plans in early July 2021 on a prepaid (to Expedia) 2 night stay — front desk of hotel said fine to change , but you prepaid so have to talk to Expedia about an early check out. Reasonable so far… but calling Expedia proved a huge waste of my time — they claim its too busy with the re-opening — but the only available reps on the phone cannot DO ANYTHING !!! So, I guess I have to book direct with hotels so that I can have customer service !! Is that how you want to play it Expedia??!? Its not me, its you

Can not get my credit but had to call. Waited 2 h and the attendant although nice could not upload the information. It seems like you do this on purpose so the customer gives up and you keep the money

I will NEVER EVER book a trip through Expedia again!!! Horrible. Can’t get a real person on phone. Hang ups when finally do. Won’t let me use airline credits that have long ago been paid for!

Missed Flight Due to Poor Communication

I had a flight credit with Delta through Expedia from a cancelled March 2020 trip. When I called to rebook, the lady I spoke with was helpful and got me booked on a flight. I gave her my credit card information to pay the difference and received confirmation Emails from both Delta and Expedia; However, when I showed up at the airport they told me there was a problem with my ticket. After waiting on hold with Expedia and missing my flight, they told me the price of the flight had changed since booking the ticket, so it was cancelled. They claimed they had no email on file to relay the information to me, but my email is associated with my account and I received the confirmation emails. She offered to rebook me on the next flight, but with no additional compensation and the flight was an extra 350.00. I declined as I had no way of knowing if this flight would actually go through. I would not recommend booking thorough Expedia. Pay a little more if necessary and save yourself the hassle!
