App does not sync with airline tickets/reservation

Airline cancelled my flight. A helpful Expedia agent assisted with changing that flight. Flight is reflected correctly on airline web site. Expedia App still indicates wrong date and wrong flight (flight that was cancelled by airline) (change was made 5 days ago). Expedia sent me email with incorrect final destination. Expedia indicated incorrect travel time in their correspondence (29 hours v. Actual 9 or so hours). Expedia sent multiple emails reflecting correct revised flight-one from an email called “Amadeus”. (A bit confusing). Initial email from Expedia Indicating that initially booked flight had been cancelled by airline looked like it could have been a phishing/scam email and could easily have been overlooked or deleted.


Trip change

A family emergency resulted in a change of plan. We booked a car through Expedia from Thrifty Car Rental. We needed to change the drop off location to Tucson International Airport. I notified Thrifty and Expedia. I was told the change of location and day would cost $186 on the Thrifty charge, Expedia would also have a charge. We needed to get home ASAP, so we decided to pay the fee. Arriving at the Tucson airport, we found out, there is no Thrifty Car Rental at the Tucson Airport. The only recourse was to return the car to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. An unexpected extra night in Phoenix, plus another shuttle trip to Tucson would be our only way home. There were no practical trips home from Phoenix. This could have all been avoided if either party, Expedia or Thrifty Car Rental told us there was no Thrifty Car Rental at the Tucson Airport. What a Cluster F——! Thanks Expedia!


Bad app

The app glitches often when using it. It does not have a search button for me to type in the amenities I am looking for. It also does not save the search or continue where I left off as Airbnb and Priceline do, so it makes it a huge hassle to have to go in and input all my information over again. They do have some really good deals and I’m hoping this experience gets better so that I can continue to use this app. Great for booking if you have patience. I travel often for work so it is a really big issue time wise for me.


Car rental not available

I reserved a cargo van and when I arrived they did not have it. My vacation was ruined. I returned the next day and they still did not have the cargo van. My family is very disappointed .


Customer service

Tried several times to adjust time of rental on line and calls. Finally gave up and picked up at regular time. Hertz required insurance be purchased through them and I should call Expedia and cancel insurance through them. Tried from car rental at airport. Never got through from there either


Great For business

I just want to give a quick review of how Expedia has helped my business. I travel for work monthly. Having access to all that Expedia offers concerning travel to and from my work is quite amazing. Having hotels, cars and trucks, airline and much more all in one simple to use app or website makes running a business on the move so simple. Tracking my bookings, paying through a safe portal and getting reminders from them is very helpful. Expedia has done a wonderful job of bringing all the elements of travel for business together in an easy to use app. Thank you Expedia, I look for to travel.

Make sure you call the hotel and make sure there are no age requirements because if not you may not have a place to stay when you show up. Because Expedia does not advertise when you have to be 21+ and then just take your money and make you pay double for another place.


Horrible never again.

Expedia is garbage

They have no customer service to bring up concerns or issues. I canceled a hotel booking within hours of booking it. And even bought a protection plan that says covers all cancellations. No refund given. I told my bank, they tried to take care of it but Expedia fought it now I have keep calling my bank to send them emails. Never had this much trouble getting a refund. South West was hella quick with the flight refund. Good thing I only got the hotel with Expedia. But they’re trash ?


Worthless!

I will never use this app again. It has screwed up the last two times we attempted to book hotels. It is impossible to talk with a real person to fix the mess they created. We are through.

Absolutely never used again, don’t waste your money when your purchase the insurance. I just booked my flight with them and purchase insurance for the flight so if need it I don’t need to worry if I need cancel for anything happen. Wrong I called deal it with not solutions, because they said I need to deal with the aero line providing the fligh I did and the sad they don’t have nothing about insurance. So back and for with supervisors and Expedia. They wish me good luck to deal with the insurance company, if they will accept my reason to cancel flight. So don’t waste your money or time with this app.
