Worse and worse

How many crashes is acceptable? Feels like every update gets worse and worse. Today is the Monday after Week 17, and it is incapable of loading my scores, probably because the season is “over.” All last week it couldn’t load anything but projections for leagues that ended in Week 16. Every update seems to strip functionality and stability. You guys have all the money in the world, but you just keep taking stuff away to make the fantasy experience worse. Want to run a live draft from your app? Used to be able to, but not anymore. Want to use the league manager tools from the app? No way (and don’t even get me started on how going to Espn.com in your phones browser and selecting anything fantasy related forces opens the app for you). You scrubbed everyone’s league records last year, eliminated the ability to run a live draft at all, took away features from the draft room, have failed to keep up with offering any type of new or unique scoring options or league configurations offered by other sites, consistently made this app, the thing that’s supposed to make things more convenient, worse, and left me thinking that a review is possibly the only way to communicate this to you. That’s probably dumb though. No one is reading these. Makes me as stupid as whoever is making the decisions over there.

Today I received over 150 emails between 5 am eastern and 8 am eastern letting me know that I could make my pigskin picks for today’s football games. While I enjoy playing fantasy with my friends, I had to delete the app and block their email site to get it to stop. I don’t think I will be back. I was getting 2-3 emails a minute at one point. It was REDICULOUS!!!

The Mobil only format for ESPNs fantasy hockey is beyond disappointing. I'm hoping my League changes providers. It's kind of a shame cuz for 5 years it's been awesome !!!!!

As the worldwide leader in sports, you set the bar high, the fantasy basketball platform falls far short. With ineffective and non-existent injury designations our league has had to resort of manage rosters in a shared sheets file to maintain our sanity. Couple that with non-existent projection resources to determine if teams should pick up players mid-week to stay competitive or even individual player projections to get a sense on future productivity and you’ve got a low-end C- grade for the app. ESPN needs to take a long hard look at where this app and broader fantasy sports fit in their future as this, as well as football, has left me and my leagues looking elsewhere for these loyalty driving services.
