This application includes capabilities to:
- Show turn by turn driving or walking directions to the selected annotation.
- Select any annotation to get the direction and distance from your current location.
- Select an annotation to get detailed information including the address, a description including related pictures, historical information, links to additional information on associated Websites, a Streetview Image (if available), and links to reviews of nearby restaurants and businesses.
- Show maps in standard, satellite and hybrid format.
- Search and filter annotations by name
- Customize maps with your own annotations. These custom annotations will automatically display the geolocation address, a Streetview image (if available), links to reviews of nearby restaurants and businesses, and property information from Zillow (if available).
- Create new maps with your own custom annotations.
This eMap application is a perfect companion for students or visitors to the University.

Great app to get up to date Metro info as well as interesting places to visit. Love the integration with google maps to prove walking directions and the ability to add custom places (I use it to help me remember where I parked my car)!!! Highly recommended
Good effort but needs work

This app provides zoomable maps and satellite photos, and static info. For instance, you can see what restaurants and attractions are near a given metro station. Even just as a mapping app, it's a but frustrating. For instance, the metro stations aren't labeled. In my case, for instance, a friend said "meet me at Rosslyn metro stop." I hoped to use the app to find how to get from here to there; that is not even close to what the app does (no schedules, directions, etc. just maps). But I couldn't even find the Rosslyn station on the map, which doesn't label the stations! Adding the functionality I expected would be very hard. But at least this should label the metro stations and give a map of bike share stations.
Needs more bike maps

I bought this for the bike maps but it only shows the major routes. I need to understand the smaller paths through the cities & neighborhood which are safe for riding and are marked as bike paths. There is a paper map that shows this, I thought there would have been a transfer from the paper map to the app.
