The Elder Futhark runes are ancient Nordic alphabets. There are 24 runes each with literal and mythological meanings that change when the rune appears upside down.
When used in runecasting, the idea is that you have one of each rune drawn on a stone or piece of polished wood. There are 5 possible positions and 4 domain manifestations for each rune. This means hundreds of interpretations, and that is not counting the connections between the runes cast.
Elder Runes is an expert tool that does the runic interpretation for you. You can concentrate on the process of understanding the answers in the context of your individual questions.
I've had trouble working this application many times; primarily, when I select a reading. Credits are deducted; they'll sometimes reappear when I reopen the app, sometimes not. When I contacted the developers about this & another issue, they reissued my credits...well in excess of what I'd lost. Elder Futhark is *very* intricate. It's not intended to educate one about Runes, so I hadn't expected much...something generic. I'm curious about how its developers gathered such a broad amount of information. It's beautifully put together, and my readings have been profound (when they work!).
This app is not working correctly Every time I touch it, it does a 5 rune spread. It keeps crediting my runes. I’ve burned thru all of them in a week. It does not function
The meanings and associations are amazing. My big downside comes to money, and having to pay for more credits makes it inaccessible.
I love how the app explains tunes but I don’t like that I will have to pay for the tellings
