Not too bad, but needs work

I noticed that I could create a crossword puzzle and that was great! But I was confused... What is the point of making a crossword puzzle if you can not play it? Sorry if there is a misunderstanding, if so I would like a reply.

The software does well what it is designed to do: make custom crosswords for events or the classroom. The input on words and clues are easy and the program fitting the puzzle together on completion is wonderful. The options for printing are sufficient. The real problems with the program are navigation and creating new puzzles. There is no route to go back to a home screen and to create a new puzzle after the first one you have to erase every line in the old one and write over it. On exporting the files for printing it doesn’t send the file under your chosen name so you have to overwrite the old blank and solution files to receive the new ones. This is a problem for classroom use when you might want to have a few puzzles backed up for different days or lessons. It’s such a shame that the program does much well but is so incomplete with basic functions.

This app creates a great puzzle with simplicity. However, it lacks one important feature. The puzzle cannot be "played" on the iPad. The puzzle should be savable and playable. Add this feature and I will I've 5 stars.

I don't see the point of this app. If I try to add a word that obviously fits, then the app shows a different layout that the one before. It would be nice if you could actually enter words directly into the puzzle, or at least direct where you want the new word to go.

This is ridiculous. Once you create a puzzle, your options are to upload or print. From a mobile device? So dumb. I rarely regret spending a dollar, but it's happening right now.

I just wanted to be able to create a simple crossword puzzle. This did it very well. Why not five stars? Well, when I wanted to edit a typo, I had to delete and re-enter the data, rather than just a simple in-line adjustment. Definitely worth a buck.
