You can tell by the feel of the game that the dev/devs werent given quite the time and/or budget to really do this game demo justice. I really hope that the eventual game is released in more of a polished state. speaking of release the demo was released in january and nothing else has been released since then... whats the deal? Hopefully with the re-release of Night Trap and its hopeful success that the rights holders for this game and Quarterback Attack will revisit these two properties. Games like this have a niche market that is driven by nostalgia and there is a limited time window where there will be renewed interest in the FMV genre before those who have memories of originally playing the game will have aged out of being a worthwhile and financially viable demographic.
I loved this game on Sega CD and Sega Saturn. Great game as long as your a fan of Nostalgic full motion video games. A little repetitive but I love the style where you can watch different versions every time. I always wished the game had a random enemy mode so you could watch parts of the main story where you had to always be capturing the thugs. Please release Maximum Surge, it is the only Digital Pictures game I don’t own because it was never released!
