I got this free for 6 months with my Verizon phone line. But when I downloaded the app it tells me “not available in my location”. I live in Houston, TX… A major city… This makes no sense.

Great content but the app is broken on AppleTV

The user interface is infuriating to use on Apple TV. Instead of allowing you to scroll between seasons of a TV show the selection automatically jumps to the “watch now button” or the my “list button.” And it starts you at season 1. So if you want to watch season 20 of a TV show, instead of just being able to scroll to season 20, you have to go season by season where the selection jumps back to the watch now button then go back down to where you can select which season. Sometimes this even happens when just scrolling anywhere looking at various titles to watch. I tried deleting and reinstalling but it’s still the same. It’s just like HBOmax. Great content but what is up with this UI.

Overall Discovery plus is good. However the bones need work. Specifically the ability to turn auto play off and ability to remove shows from continue watching. These are just basics that would improve functionality.

I love this streaming service really awesome selection of shows my only complaint is during seven Little Johnstons the newer season was an on discovery plus right away it was on TV firstI would’ve liked to see that show on both TOC and discovery plus


App won’t work on several devices after updating

I’m really frustrated! I started using the app at the start of January, and it worked perfectly fine on two devices - my FireStick and LG smart TV. The LG tv is the main device I use. I think I’ve used the app almost every day since downloading. I opened the app yesterday, 1/18, and got a message saying there was an update, so I installed it and tried launching the app. The Discovery+ logo popped up on the screen and stayed there…the app wouldn’t go any further. I turned my tv off, waited a few minutes, and turned it on to try again. Same thing - just a frozen screen with the logo. I gave up and decided to try again today, thinking it just needed some time. Nope. It will not work. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it…nothing! I decided to then check my account to see if there was anything I could do. I signed in on my phone’s browser and was then prompted to download the app, so I did. I got all the way through the process and when I attempted to launch it on my iPhone, I got a message saying it’s not available in my area! What?! It still won’t work on my TV. What’s going on? I was a very happy customer (I love the selection of channels and programs from Discovery+) and now I’m the complete opposite. Please provide an update and/or solution.


No Picture In Picture

In every streaming service I’ve used there is always a Picture in Picture option. I want to multitask and this is terrible for my situation. Change this please.

At least 75% of the time, this app does not work - won’t let you do anything at all.
