"Diabolical" is a 130,000-word interactive novel by Nick Aires, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based--without graphics or sound effects--and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Famous, feared, or filthy rich—why not all three? You've got the money and the motives to build an evil empire worthy of the most ruthless villain the world has ever seen. Crush the good guys and terrorize the populace! Stamp a big red "FAIL" on your enemies' foreheads! Plunder your way to world domination – or sit back and pet your kitty while your henchmen do it for you.

Will you be a high-tech daredevil, a ruthless military soldier, or an apparition terrifying to behold? What calling card will you leave at the scene of your crimes? Whatever your choices, the results will be diabolical.

Fantastically done!!!!
Mr.jcury

This was immensely enjoyable. It was written very well and the story was just excellent, I found it interesting, captivating and heard my self laugh out loud several times! Well done author, I hope to see your writings in the future. I am not a person known to give 5 star ratings easily so trust me when I say this is worth every penny.

Disappointing

I typically purchase anything Choice of Games puts out sight unseen because the quality is consistently high. Unfortunately, Diabolical is the most disappointing Choice of Games product I've played. The writing is acceptable, but for a game that's supposed to be centered on making choices and playing the lead character in your own way, there are very few real choices to be made that determine anything of significance. Most of the key plot points are pre-decided and not affected by anything you decide at all, including your character making silly and out-of-character decisions that make little sense. There are plenty of spots where the author could have allowed for more choices to be made, but instead they make the decision for you and tell you what happens.

Amazing

Funny, original and dang clever I loved every minute of this ...

Gender

I found the game really fun, but it never did ask for a real name or gender? Anyone else find that strange?

Probably best game
Choice of games lover

I love this game I haven't played many of the choice of games apps but I'm sure that this by far must be one of their best I want to play this game till I have every scenario played out and explored every choice!!!

Nope. Not for me.

Most of the choices doesnt affect really well to the character I wanted to be. 'Cause most of the time the MC seems to be pretty foolish to me. A bit linear to be exact. You know those kind of games that will make you immerse in the story because of the choices and how it reflects back to to you as the MC. This does not make feel that way. I'm sorry but this game is just disappointing. I wish they made more improvements to the character development.

Hardly any 'choices'

There are a few games, now, within CoG's repertoire that I would qualify as interactive literature in the vein that we probably all look for.... So many of the recent releases, however, scarcely allow you to develop your character with any sort of decision making and proves quite annoying. I understand that to do so requires more work but in purchasing these games, we are paying you for that work. This game specifically reads very juvenile and leads you down paths without any decision of your own that may seem very out of place for what you'd actually like to do. It's frustrating and has led me to not even finish some of the games I have purchased from CoG. They just aren't fun. If you want continued business, go back to the highly interactive releases that are truly worth my money.

Fun goofy humor

You can turn a corn maze into buttered popcorn and project your face onto the moon. If that sounds like a grand time this game is for you.

Great potential, throws it away for comedy

This game has the ability to make you feel as an all powerful villain, only to bring you down by a humiliating string of events that sometimes seem even random for its setting. I left each chapter heavily unsatisfied with how my all powerful villain couldn't handle even the simplest of heroes or other obstacles. I still enjoyed it, but it could've used some more upsides. You aren't a billionaire supervillain just by sheer luck after all. Your character should at least put up a good fight against some of the nemesis's they face in this game.
