Terrible App & Customer Service

The app crashes when I tap on specific articles and when I attempt to enlarge the print. It doesn’t happen every time, but it happens enough times to force me to abandon reading the newspaper using the app. I complained to the newspaper about it but all I got was an email directing me to submit additional personal information which did not appear to me to be necessary for them to fix the bug in the app that was causing the problems;

I prefer the paper version, but due to it no longer being delivered to my door in my small town (now PO Box only), digital is an excellent and much more affordable option...

Great On-Line Resource

I have a paper subscription and this came with it. I read the on-line version on my iPad, while my wife reads the paper copy. It’s especially handy when we travel. Then during the day, I check the updated electronic version.

We are Iowans who moved to northern Minnesota three years ago and thanks to the Register we can stay current with what’s happening in our home state. The paper does a great job of covering news for the entire state.

I really enjoy reading the Des Moines register online. It is very convenient to download the paper to my iPad and read it while my wife drives.
