Sync Issues

WSLN

Great product, but sync issues have been very problematic with iOS platforms and no fix date is in site. The recommendation is to get to the cloud offering. Beware if you want self hosted.

Great product/bad sinking

Even after working with their tech people, still having trouble syncing iPhone to laptop. Keeps tell me to download cloud version – very problematic self hosting.

Not as good as it was

I am a small business owner and have been using Daylite now for about 4-5 years. Overall I was thinking it was the best database for macs..... I do not know that now. They continue to say that you can take your database with you on the road but I believe that is NO longer true. I cannot find contacts on my phone that I know are on my mac at the office. I used to be able to look at my calender from the past which allowed me to see when I was previously at an old customrs' house. Now I cannot do it. I am upset because I trusted these guys and took the time to learn their program and now I will probably need to find another database? I have message with their techs and apparently - "That's the way it is..."

IOS app needs work

I love the Mac OS version. However, the IOS version needs to catch up.

Lacking

Boscoe Peredine

Although this program integrates with MacMail very well, there is no integration for Text, and in today's business environment, a lot of business communication happens via text. If you cannot track all communications why track any? But the real drawback comes in creating groups and printing. No fast and easy ways to use groups with both People and Companies, which makes print "merge" tasks a pain. Also does not have a lot of print templates nor easy ways to import new ones. What is available for people is not for companies, and I don't have time to make new ones from scratch. Not happy.

Replaces new database with old

Johnsonbe1

I have the self serve program and mostly use the app on my phone to update projects, opportunities and tasks. With the most current update a banner appears on my phone saying "download required" and it forces me to sign in. Not only is this a huge pain because it happens over and over, the worst part is the most current / updated database on the phone is replaced by the old database on the Mac. Any and all information entered on the phone is lost, rendering this app and the entire program useless.

We have used DL since 2007 and it is terrific. Former ACT user. No comparison and with support firms like Blue Rock Consulting it runs circles around anything like it worth the nickel.

No calendar / contact sync

tirsch

It's useless if it can't use my existing calendar and contacts.

Daylite works...

Shingo

Yes I must say Daylite works. The system works well .. when it works. You simply don't want to encounter tech issues. There's no phone number we can reach anyone in the support team. The problem we email them will get answered by multiple people and there's no connection between anyone. We get asked the same questions over and over and the issues were not resolved. Now they push out this cloud-based server host, they seem to care even less about solving your self-serve issues.

Very Little Support

BManagmentGroup

We have been experiencing several issues with syncing between the computer program and the mobile programs. For several weeks now, not all calendar appointments have been showing on our employees' mobile devices (even when they are all showing on the computer). We have reached out to Daylite Support several times via email (as there is no phone number, and I have personally never seen the chat actually connected) and have just been told to delete and re-add the programs several times. We have even gone as far as to wipe the databases. Not good support for what we pay or for how much we use and rely on this service.
