Great CRM software

Mr Schwam

I love Daylite, but I feel that I have only scratched the surface with its customizability. The support at Marketcircle is responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for any Mac user.

Great IOS - only issue is desktop

iPad for Daylite user

Great software. Manage contacts, calendar, projects, goals, mailing lists... Run your whole business. Daylite on IOS is fantastic. On the Mac though you will need reading glasses. Their only glitch is the tiny 4pt font size used in calendar and to do lists, etc. Daylite on the Mac will show a shaded appointment. You will need to pick up your iPad or phone or double power reading glasses to read what the appointment is. Look at their own forums. This has been a popular topic for over 7 years. No way to adjust font size? Seriously? They won't bother fixing that? I am shopping for a replacement because even though Daylite does a good job, if I can't read what it is reminding me to do, it doesn't always get done. I find myself reading my days to do list in the morning on my iPad and working from memory the rest of the day.

The best and ONLY Project Management Software you should buy!

New Fan Wow

Planning and project management software: I have pretty much tried them all! 99% of them fall hugely short: not enough integration of other apps like mail, or over complex, hard to use, no cross connectivity with iOS and Mac, you name it I’ve bought it, tried it, stopped using it. After years and years of fruitless searching and scouring the digital desert in darkness, I finally found Daylite! And boy does it now feel like I am in a different world! A world of order and planning that works the way I want it to. Daylite offers such versatile and also EASY ways of joining the dots between all of your projects you’ll want to cry with joy! As a Producer for multiple national TV networks and channels I invariably have 10-15 projects on the go at any one time. I’ve tried Franklin Covey, Paper, Filofax, Tony Robbins RPM and, for a while I thought that Omnifocus would be my only hope. However, it turned out not to be the one I was looking for, it’s lack of integration (seriously??) with the ludicrously expensive Omniplan makes what could have been an excellent project planner into an over glorified version of Mac’s native “Reminders” app (come on Omni Group, get it together please - you’re good people!). But by far THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE are those who work on Daylite. From day one I had an incredible experience and dialogue with them, they were responsive, helpful and kind. Daylite also has the missing link: a pipeline - a VISUAL pipeline so you can make sense of where you are in a project and how close to the end you are! Also, the ability to put in “Opportunities”, so you can track business leads and transform them into actual projects later is a god-send. Yes other project managers have this but not as visual or as easy to use. AND the kicker for me was the ability to integrate your email as well by turning a simple email into a project directly from the MAC mail app! WOW. And you can also attach mail directly to other projects without even leaving MAC MAIL. Also, integration with your MAC address book, a bit buggy but Brilliant! I could literally right pages and pages as to why Daylite is a truly an incredible piece of software. It’s makers are visionaries and are clearly listening to people like me who need versatile and clever software to make their lives not only easier but stressless and provide much needed clarity in a multi project world. But I won’t. I’ll stop. Because Daylite has taught me how to wrestle and slay the beasts of disorganization. This is hands down THE BEST PROJECT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE EVER. Don’t buy anything else, you’re wasting your money, cheating your offspring out of their inheritance and wasting the much needed and most precious resource that Daylite will help you get back by the bucket load: your time!

GREAT SOFTWARE

Surfmaverick

I have used Daylite since 2010 and think this is the best software available for the Mac. If you: Have a saleforce (especially a mobile one) Need to run complicated, a varying tasks Need to keep with contacts and make sure your contacts are consistent Need a CRM solution Need a project management solution Need a really easy, but customizable way of keeping up with life, then you need Daylite. How I started with Daylite: I am in the financial service sector and have lots of contacts. Outlook just doesn’t do it and I needed to keep up not only with contacts, but also with processes. So, I started looking fro solutions. Tried Salesforce. Too expensive. Tried PC based systems. Too dodgy. Tried Sugar and Sugar Sync - doesn’t work well and the browser method is not functional. Needs to link emails, processes, tasks, calendar and sales together. Daylite is the solution. The part that I love the best is it’s really affordable, the tech support is good, and Marketcircle has kept a steady pace of solid innovation and development.

Good idea, awful execution.

JustBrady

The idea here is solid. It just suffers from poor execution and follow through. Far too many bugs and errors that are never fixed. The app never seems to get update and problems that have been here for years, simply don't go away after repeated requests to the company and promise to fix on the next release. After paying for 3 versions, I'm assuming the fixes aren't coming. Invites don't send, app crashes when working with tasks, appointments randomly vanish, and appointments accepted from other entities still show as "Easter island time" with no way to fix. Spend your money elsewhere.

They have held my database hostage for 3 days and won’t even respond

Steamboat-Springs

The worst customer service I have ever seen. They don't respond, they don't answer their phone, they don't seem to understand that they are a database company and not responding for days when a customer is down endangers their customer's business. I am simply stunned by how they hide when their is an issue. It's clear by now that they either down't care of don't know what to do but can't give us the courtesy of letting us know.
