First thing I do when I wake up is check the Courier Journal App on my I phone. Love it. Geraldine Gauer Louisville 40204

Very handy and easy to use

I pull it up whenever I have a few minutes of dead time and read an article or two while I'm waiting for whatever it is (doctor, picking up kids, etc).

Appreciate the Courier-Journal app

Speck of Red in a sea of blue

Living in the Lexington market area and being a true University of Louisville fan, the Courier-Journal app is my major source of information for my teams. Thank you.

Too glitchy

Licensegirl

It's not intuitive and functions that we are supposed to have access to like comics and crossword are impossible to find. You have to use the search bar, and then when it goes to the page, it glitches and freezes and never loads.

Little news. Lot of sports. No editorials of substance. Two quality journalists: Gershon and Puckett. Corporate crap news for the most part.

Easy to Use App

I find the CJ app great when I am away from my paper copy. The update alerts let me know what is happening in Louisville.

Very timely and great info!

Periodically pops up video ads

The latest release force you to have a subscription to read unlimited articles, so why are we still having pop up video ads?????????

CJ app

HORRIBLE!!!!! Do not subscribe. It hangs up all the time, all the stories' images are impossibly-high resolution (I want the text of the news, not pictures of it. Fine in a printed edition, not fine online.), at least half of the stories have a video component (again, if I want video I'll watch television.) and the writing is horrendous. Most of the reporters and all of the copy editors should be fired. None of them can spell or construct a grammatically correct sentence. Who the heck do these managers hire to write and edit a former Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper? The CJ management appears to have no journalistic pride anymore. Roger Taylor Louisville, KY
