A tragic tale of time's cruelty unfolds in Square Enix's first Apple Watch-exclusive RPG!
■A dark and timeless world
The Goddess is gone and time has stopped. Now it's up to you to traverse the Rift and stand against those who would see its flow stilled forever. Regrettably, the path to saving the Goddess of Time is not an easy one.
■The past and present meet
Retro pixel art and the Apple Watch's cutting edge graphics come together to tell an unforgettable story.
■Simple, but engaging battles
While normal attacks are automatic, you must leverage powerful skills and strengthen your sword to make it through the Rift.
■An Apple Watch experience
The power of time is in your hands. Simply use the Digital Crown to turn back the clock! Certain conditions may also earn you special messages.
Game will not launch past title screen on Apple Watch Series 3. Do not purchase, will be requesting refund from Apple.
Game doesn’t recognize Series 3 Watch. Completely unplayable. Wasted 8 dollars.
this game was ridiculously boring at first. until i figured out how to play. the instructions on time warping are ok; but there is little to no instructions on how to level up and select non-attack skills, as well as extend the time. please improve your instructions, and you should see many of the one-star ratings disappear.
The story is quite interesting, the music on the iPhone App is amazing, definitely feels like a Square Enix game. I have only played for a little while but it is making me want to keep coming back and playing! There is little battery drain on this, and the art on the watch is beautiful even on the small screen. It is a definite pick up and will be coming back for more.
Complete waste of money. All you do is tap on your watch screen like an idiot... Or don't. Tapping doesn't have any real effect on whether you succeed or not. It's basically just Progress Quest for your watch.
This game is surprisingly deep considering that a battle is just waiting for a skill to charge and tapping it. The depth comes in the form of constructing efficient skill chains and seeking boost relics up and down the timeline. The stories have dark themes and nice art. The watch UI lags a bit and notifications sometimes don't reflect the state of the game. Also, it's addictive enough that I kill my battery before the day is out.
This looked like a promising game for the Apple Watch, I bought it on release with hopes that there would finally be a good game to play on the Apple Watch. The graphics are very nice, and the music and sound effects are quite beautiful. However the gameplay is rather dull. After playing for 30 minutes or so, the only thing I did to play was tap the screen after several seconds of watching the meter for an attack fill back up. The game did make use of the Digital Crown, which is a first that I've seen however I've only seen it used to turn back the time in game. For the price, I figured there would be a lot more interaction and in depth gameplay, but this is not the case. Overall, I think this game has great potential, though at the moment it is not something I will play for hours on end.
