If you are a web developer wondering if you can do your job on the iPad while on the road, the answer yes and Coda is the way. This is an amazing app and nearly as good as it's Mac counterpart. Buying Prompt and anything else by these guys to help support the great work they are doing on the iPad. Update: Still astounded, but there are a few glitches I'd love to see fixed. Syntax Highlighting gets goofy after a while and I have to reset it. Still 5 stars because... There's nothing out there that even comes close to how great this is. Update 2 (June 6 2016): I see there is a bug fix listed for faster and more accurate syntax highlighting so hopefully this resolves my issues mentioned above. Still an amazing app!

Amazing app. With its built in terminal and FTP client this app has helped me to replace my laptop for most of most of my programming. I use the terminal to connect to my Linux server where I am able to edit all my docs through Coda and run my compile server side. Really impressed by my productivity on Coda

While I love the ssh portion of this app, and the preview window. The Built in editor is useless to me, as I come from a long vim background. This means the most attractive feature (offline editing) is not available to me.

I like this editor and I like the features it includes, especially the support for SSH keys and encryption, but I feel that the UI of the app needs a more thorough tutorial. It's like OmniFocus for iOS: there's a lot of things you have to learn about how the app uses gestures, and where to use them. Likewise, there's a lot of controls that don't always convey what they do. That's the only criticism I have for this app, everything else is awesome :)

This is an amazing app. Because of it I can get a lot of work done that I couldn't before on my iPad. Feature request: Could you please add syntax highlighting for other languages, like R, Latex, and Matlab?

This app really makes me more productive on the iPad Pro. Since I do most of my coding in R, I have a big feature request: could you please add syntax highlighting for R?

Great app for SSH, FTP, and editing on the go. $25 WELL spent. There isn't anything I haven't been able to do with this app yet. I currently use it for managing 5 Linux servers and the experience has been amazing. Great job Panic

Code completion is partial at best, does poor indentation of code, even HTML. Proprietary environment makes moving your work to other locations needlessly difficult, and placed behind another paywall. Look elsewhere!

Overall this is a pretty good on the go editor to stay productive on your project or your customers project. Bugs: Some of the crashing has been fixed which was the biggest pain. Syntax highlighting will break periodically requiring you to close the page and re open it to fix the highlighting. This happens when editing any language in the program that I've seen. I would still recommend this, as I use this on my laptop as well and it's well worth it buying every time. Bugs are going to happen. **** UPDATE****** This app crashes too much to be productive. Not a good companion.
