Agree with other comments. This is too cumbersome to use now. Please fix it, as it has had a problem for enough time that it should have been fixed by now.

Filters do not work

Event filters -- music, family friendly, etc. -- not working. All events display all the time.

New updated app no longer shows local events. The app is worthless now.

When your floating ad makes it impossible to utilize the location filter, you've failed. If your app is no longer as functional because of the ad, people will find an alternative. When that happens, you lose advertising dollars. Fix your app and work with your advertisers so both can work together. I don't mind ads but decreasing functionality for the sake of ads is poor business practice.
