I very much love these mystery games. The musical score with this blew me away. Though I've finished playing it I keep going back just to listen to the music.

Great game

Really enjoy this game, no problems with game play...well done. Thanks. Also, there are no Warlocks or Witches...not sure were the title came from, there are Totem poles...

Really good!! And done right..
Casual mode

Great point and click hidden object puzzle adventure. I hope these devs will make more like it. Other HOPA game producers should take note.. No glitches! No begging for reviews! No annoying pop-ups or ads! Pleasure to play...clear graphics, lots to do including several HOPs and different mini-games with skip option, hints system, teleporting map marked where tasks still exist, and note journal. This was surprisingly long for the low price, you purchase within the game. Awesome job!! To the devs..thank you, please do more like this, and thanks for reasonable pricing!

Wonderful adventure/mystery. Hidden object scenes were great, unique puzzles and beautiful graphics. Stumbled on to this gem of a game and really enjoyed it. Please release more of this type of game, as I until now didn't even know that you existed. Thank You for such a Great game!!! KdBoots

Terrific and Suspenseful... But...!

I loved this game, it was exactly the interactive, puzzle-solving adventure with a neat and fairly original plot that kept my interest and attention. I was having an addictive good time. Really wish I could have continued having the free good time I was led to believe I was playing the whole way through. You get pretty far in the story and then you enter a new environment only to be slapped with "Buy the full version!" After having such a fun time, I felt cheated. So, if you're in to half a mind-bending adventure leading up to a moderately sized let-down, this is the game for you!

Needs some work

Nice long trial game. But, it needs work. There are vocabulary errors in the HO lists, such as "ostrich feather" when it means peacock feather, and "leaflet" when it means leaf, etc. The map sometimes lets you teleport, but not always. The formula for the powder wouldn't accept the items tapped. I had to keep tapping them. I finally gave up on that puzzle with only one step left, because it wouldn't accept that final tap. Frustrating! The graphics are just okay. I hated the astrology mapping puzzle. I found it terribly boring. To start that puzzle it said it needed cards, but it really wanted the folders collected in the library. Since I had them, I tried them, never thinking they would work, but they did. Errors like that drove me crazy. If they fix it, it would be much better to play. For now, I'll pass.

Not Bad, Not Great--Still, Good Way to Pass Time

I agree with another reviewer--where are the witches and warlocks? Well, anyway, I actually enjoyed this entertaining murder mystery, with supernatural overtones, as you set off to prove your boyfriend's innocence after he was framed for murder. The graphics are satisfactory but could be a bit sharper. There is an abundance of action-packed cut-scenes to further maintain your attention. However, the exclusion of voiceovers detracts from a more immersive connection with the storyline. The inventory is labeled but not interactive; unfortunately, the bar does not lock in place. There are only two modes of difficulty; and on expert mode, the guiding hands point directly over the exact positions of where you need to place items. This game is far from challenging! You are given a diary to record story progression and clues to solve puzzles. The teleport map did consistently transport me to where I wanted to go and also indicated objectives; however, I found that there were were no tasks to immediately perform in many locations showing an exclamation mark. The HOS are all boring and old-school junk-pile word lists containing scant interactivity. The puzzles are elementary in challenge, but they are entertaining. You have one set of collectibles, which are easy to spot. Even though I need to take lightly the fact that this is an outdated game, I still cannot rate this higher than 3 stars because games dating back to 2014 were already implementing or introducing more advanced interactive elements. Furthermore, you are denied a bonus chapter and any extras. Overall, it is still a decent game to play if you are bored and have nothing else to play, especially for $2.99.
