Chicken Chess is based on a fast and exciting version of chess known as Reverse or Anti-Chess. The rules and movements of pieces are identical to those in conventional chess but with an added twist – it is mandatory to capture an opponent piece during a move if possible. The winner is the player who gets all their pieces captured first or is unable to move during their turn (i.e. conditions of stalemate).
The average game lasts around 10 minutes and you’ll be surprised how quickly the advantage moves from one player to the other. Be careful – one false move and the whole game can slip away from you before you even realize it. Remember – pieces that are useful in conventional chess may not be so in this version and vice versa.

I was a pretty good chess player before I discovered antichess many years ago. I am quite glad I found this online. This is a pretty good implementation true to antichess. Fun buy.

The app is nice, but even on the easiest level of AI it's nearly impossible to win.

This game is good and the AI plays pretty well, but it always promotes to a rook, which gives an unfair advantage to the human player and takes away from the challenge of having a strong opponent.

The engine keeps playing the same moves, would be nice to have an engine that learned from its mistakes or played variations. Winning even at "grandmaster" level is trivial.
