Demands Creating A Flexbit Account

I wanted to try this app but it requires a Flexbit account. I know nothing about Flexbit. The app looked interesting and worth trying but I wanted to try without the Flexbit requirement. This is a zero star app to me. I have deleted it since I couldn’t get past the Flexbit requirement.
Another app bait and switch to subscription

Well there goes another good app, suckering you in with a buy once and done price and moving to an overpriced subscription I didn't ask for or need. Flexbits did this with Fantasical, I should have seen this coming with Cardhop. I will *NEVER* buy another product from them again. Stay away!

5 stars for a good app. Minus 4 because the developer forced Fantastical users who’d already shelled out a good amount of money to subscribe to that app with the latest update, and has now done the same with Cardhop. All features from Cardhop 1 still available, yet now you can’t add images to contacts even though you could before.

I don’t want an app that presents features that are locked behind a subscription. That’s not what I paid for when I purchased Cardhop. If you want everyone on a subscription model fine, but release a separate app and leave the original alone for those who already have it. I understand the same functionality is there but overall it’s a worse experience. Maybe treat your customers who have supported you with a little more respect, maybe then I would want to subscribe to your service.

7.99 a month for looking at my contacts! No option for people who aren’t power users and just want the app design lol, additionally, they don’t even update their app every single month (take a look at the app update history) definitely not worth the price of 2 Starbucks
I Miss the Old Widget

Before the recent update, there was an older iOS 13 style Lock Screen widget that just had 4 contacts across that could expand to 8. Now my only option is Recents? Not favorites? I’m not a fan of the new widgets and won’t be using them. Which is a bummer.

I didn’t think I’d like this app this much, I love it but there’s room for improvement and would be nice to have the signal messaging app as an option for quick messaging a contact and also being able to set on the fast messaging choice for favorite contacts the two or multiple messaging apps to text any given favorite contact and not just one single option since depending on if I’m traveling or not I use either sms/iMessage or WhatsApp with certain favorite contacts
Will not recommend. It was good but now.. not to me. Not anymore.

Dated 5/28/2021 This USED to be a great app to me. I even paid for the pro version. Then the app was updated this month and the developers combined the paid version with free version AND I feel like they rushed their widgets. The widget works exactly like any ‘shortcut’ one would create in shortcuts. ?. I deleted from my phone.
