Universal support for Audio Recordings with precise time marking using our heralded Flags system, and you are now able to enter typed text notes independent of audio recording. While recording, a simple tap allows you to quickly and easily mark significant points with audio markers called "Flags". There are two standard flag sets for business and education users, with Flags such as "Urgent", “Listen”, “Research”, and "Test Item". If the standard Flags don’t suit your needs, you can create your own custom flag sets with names and icons that make sense to you. During playback, you’ll see the Flag markers and can immediately start playing from those moments of the recording. Jump to the most important information quickly and easily!

CaptureAudio users can now sync across multiple devices using Dropbox Sync. Perfect note taking companion

This is a pretty cool app. In my profession I listen to a lot of people talk. Many times it is necassary to record our sessions so I can go back an pick up on something that I've missed. There are also times when taking notes with a pen and paper during a meeting is just not possible (for example: when I'm meeting with a family whose loved one just died and they are sharing stories as we prepare for the funeral). That's when this little app shines. I'm able to record our time together and very unobtrusively hit one of the marker buttons when something is shared that I need to refer back to later. For those of you who need to record your meetings and would like to refer back to the highpoints quickly, this is a must!

This may be the first time I've bought an app with very few reviews but I'm glad I did. Have tried several good recording apps but this is the first one I can use to reference information from a three hour meeting right on the phone instead of transferring to the computer first. A few of my favorite features are ability to speed up the play back by 1.5x and 2x speeds, pause (on record and playback which not all have), ten second jump forward or backward, and of course the flag markers. It's great that when you go back to where a flag is that you are taken several seconds prior to the marked point.

I've only had this app for a few days, but so far it's really useful. I love being able to tap a button to mark a point in the conversation that I want to review or remember later. That's the feature that really makes this app shine. No more searching for that one critical point in a ten minute conversation - just flag it!!

It really is a fantastic app, especially for 99 cents. I'm using it for podcast recording on the go with a tiny external clip microphone. It works fantastic!

I record my digressive ADHD anthro class. I can mark when she digresses & when I need to review. This is awesome. One thing I'd like to add is the icon. It's a bit not right around the corners.

This is a really well-made app. The controls are easy to use and it looks very polished. A lot of thought went into this app. What would make it a killer voice app is if it had voice activation available. It would record when sound hit a certain threshold and it would pause when there was no sound available. An app that does this wonderfully is called YaRec which I have used for the past couple years. I hope the voice activated feature would be added to this app in the near future. It really would make this app the standard above all others.

Good recorder, but need to have ability to trim recordings.

Really like the app. Ability to put up flags is great. Excellent voice quality. However, a big negative for me is that it doesn't allow trimming the recordings in instances where you'd want to trim the beginning and the end of the recordings. Another negative is the binder/notebook and renaming system is kinda confusing and not as intuitive. I would also like to request save as mp3 feature.
