I like the app, but is it "infected"?

I like the app. I'm using the free version downloaded from the AppStore here in the US. With the recent malware scare with Apple, this app was on the list of those affected. Apple was supposed to have removed any infected app. So - is this one clean? I'm not sure. But, I haven't uninstalled it either.

Scanner doesn't scan card info correctly. You have to go back and edit everything which is timely and not user-friendly. So I don't see the point in using this app. Camera is horrible-it looks like it's a shot of the negative. Move on to a better app! Seriously!
Couldn't even read "gmail"

The title says it all. I picked I nice, non-pocket abused business card and it could not even read the gmail.com on the contacts email address.
Good OCR but fails on QR

Character recognition is quite good and allows working quickly through large numbers of cards with little edits to be made. Backside information integration needs to be improved. Using QR recognition let the app to crash.
