With this most recent update the functionality of the location field for events is back to working as it did a version ago. Entering/searching location data is a function that I use a lot and I was very disappointed when the ability to do this was changed to the point of being useless. Now that this functionality is back I have increased my rating of Calendar 5 from three stars to five. I thank the developers for listening and making Calendar 5 a great app. Highly recommended. Previous review: Populating the location field for an event is not as efficient or effective as with previous versions. Why was it deemed necessary to change this feature for the newest version? For my money this is a step backward. I am looking for another calendar app.

I was really loving this app with the past few updates. But now with the latest update, we’re back to only being able to set the event times by 5 minute intervals instead of 1. Very unhappy.

Switched over to this calendar app from Fantastical and have not look back since. This calendar app is just as amazing as their mail app. Easy to use, very effective, and organized very well. I fully support this app and recommend it.
Used to love this calendar app

Have been using Calendars 5 for several years now and I used to love it. But, a recent change altered the way events are entered. What used to be a quick & easy transaction is now time consuming. I don’t understand how anyone considered this change an improvement. Keeping my eyes open for a new calendar.

Personally, I think the Calendar 5 GUI on the iPhone is much better and more user-friendly than the one on the iPad.

I’ve tried just about every calendar system on the market - and each of them didn’t quite work for me. But Calendar5 is EXACTLY the perfect fit. It works like I work. It thinks like I think. And they are constantly improving it! You actually get a PERSONAL response from support when you ask a question or submit a suggestion. LOVE THIS APP!

Have always loved Calendars 5 but the latest update is a huge leap BACKWARDS. The scroll wheel for dates and times is a nightmare to use, custom repeating tasks don’t work (keeps changing “last Saturday of each month” to “0th Saturday of each month”, and autocorrects to add a space each time I create a new task. Please roll back a version or two.
Hope to return to the previous date selection.

The date selection function is designed against humanity. The previous date selection is very convenient and intuitive, I don't know why it must be designed in the form of a scroll wheel. When modifying the date of a time period, the operation is very annoying. I just want to simply shorten the period of time. Modify the deadline. The initial date changes accordingly. A little carelessness will stretch the length of time to one month. It is very annoying to operate, and it greatly affects efficiency. Hope to return to the previous date selection. I have seen many other software’s date selections that have a scroll wheel that turns into a calendar shape. Only you, this software, gets rid of its dross and takes its essence.
