I really enjoy the native feel and experience I get from this app.

There’s a considerable pause when navigating through the directories and loading files in cloned projects. This pause does not exist if I disable networking (e.g. put the phone in airplane mode) which tells me that the app is doing a network call whenever you change directories/load files. The lag is pretty annoying. I don’t want to have to put the phone in airplane mode just to use this app.

Performing as expected on iPhone 6s+, including repeated saving/editing to Dropbox.

This app worked beautifully on the iPad mini, but I just purchased an iPad Pro (for this purpose!) and it completely breaks down. Logs into ssh server beautifully, but start to type on either soft or hard keyboard, and all I get is gibberish. Such promise. Such a disappointment. I am hopeful an update is on the way!

It's an efficient, convenient, and stylish editor. The only problem I have is when it crashes when "recent files" are opened.

I recently started building websites again after taking a few years off. While I was able to pickup with the tool I used in the past on the desktop, I didn't have any go to tools for my iPhone and iPad. I found this editor after searching online. After using it for a few weeks I must say I am really impressed. This app has earned a spot on my devices home page.

I found this app and was really hopeful that it would work for me as I learned to code. I thought the keyboard shortcut additions, styling, code highlighting, and autocomplete were fantastic. However, it crashes on me incessantly. I wanted to use this app so badly, especially because I paid for it, but even though it's really neat, I can't. I've been an apple IT consultant for the last five years, but wanted to branch out into coding also, so I am terrified that my work isn't going to be saved to Dropbox as I go because of all of the crashes. For me, it has to be function over form.

I'm giving this app 2 stars for a simple reason: The list of folders from Dropbox isn't sorted. Do you know how frustrating it is to try to read through a bunch of folders, over and over (nested) to try to find a file you want to edit??? On a positive note, Dropbox integration worked as expected- you can open a file from Dropbox and edit it and save it and it uploads the change to Dropbox. So bonus points there... The reason I am knocking it so much due to the sort order thing is kinda simple: this is a code editor for developers. Sorting is a developer kinda thing. It's basic, like version 1.0 kinda functionality. When your first experience with an app is that something like that is left out, you wonder what else was left out. Oh and you might think: 'it's a setting' but, while you're looking for a file. You can't get to ANY settings. I'm not even sure the app has any, though it must right??? I would have given it 1 star, but the working Dropbox functionality was at least better than textastic, which had basically non-existent Dropbox support.
