This is the malaise of the contemporary work place. No walls, loud office environments
Offices are social and noisy environments, and people can walk up to your desk to get your attention, regardless of what you are doing. You could consider kennelling a Rotweiller under your desk. However, for less extreme measures, you can use Bit Busy Now, and stop them before they stop you...from working.
Bit Busy Now it is a notification app that you set for the period of time you don’t want to be disturbed and then leave it to do its thing. Its thing is to tell others whether you can be disturbed or not.
When running, it’s simple and bold graphics communicates through the universal traffic light system: Red meaning “Do not disturb”and green meaning “Feel free to bug me”. More astute co-workers will read the display to see how much time is left and then come back then. Regardless, this simple app, makes good use of the time when your phone sits on your desk, not doing much.
This way you can harness the power of your phone to act as you own personal sentry.

Needs landscape mode for those of us with a kickstand case. Also needs a buzz or something to remind us to reset it just in case we need more time, or if we want this app to double as a neat timer.

This is the most stupidest app ever!!!!! If you are actually SMART, u will listen to me and will NOT GET THIS APP!!!!! It is a waste of time!!!!!!! It doesn't even deserve 1 star!!! It is not useful OR fun and I deleted it almost as soon as I got it! Don't waste your time on this!!! :(

It is probably for a bit civilized folk. Not like the hysteric review below. This app is ideal for me. I am working in a noisy open floor office where people approach in good will because they need something. Then agin I can be much more productive if interrupted when I'm ok with it. This app is just the thing I'm looking for. Brilliant creativity folks keep it up. Two suggestions that can make it even better are: 1- if you could enlarge the buttons a bit so people can see it from a bit of a distance hence avoid a potential interruption buying a few more seconds. 2- allow timer to be set in intervals of 5 or 10 minutes to allow more flexibility. With the understanding that there might be design limitations. Great app. Much needed. And follow your bliss guys some of us here need a bit of creativity. If not the whole world. :@)

The dial is hard to grab. The sound choices are limited. The time only shows minutes - who can calculate 400 minutes to hours on the fly? All this app does is replace a sticky not saying "I'm busy" with your phone - assuming that you don't need your phone while you're busy. Cool "first app" from the developers. At least it looks pretty.
