Would love it if it kept the photos I took. Looking forward to an update/fix.
The provided palettes should provide a nice dose of nostalgia for anyone who played games in the 80s and 90s. The palettes themselves are interesting enough to provide a fun alternative to other filter apps. Additionally, the pixel size feature allows for some very cool images; whether your goal is to create something "retro" or abstract.
The pixelated effects are quite good. I like the lofi high contrast effects. It's much better than other classic VGA-style photo apps I've tried. Although pixelated, images save to camera roll at 8 MP resolution. It needs an option to save your original image as well. And it needs to be able to import photos from your camera roll. I like this app more than I thought I would. =M=
I think this app has potential to be really good. It's really fun to use. I hope it will soon add support for uploading pictures for editing.
Have been having fun with this app, but it really (REALLY) needs a way to use the camera roll and to save photos you take with it at a higher resolution.
