BallisticsARC (Ballistics, Atmospherics, and Range Card) combines the functionality of a ballistics calculator, an atmospheric device, and a GPS rangefinder into one application.

BallisticsARC is powered by the proven JBM Ballistics engine and is compatible with external hardware to offer in-app sampling of onsite atmospherics.

BallisticsARC includes 3 modes: Chart Mode, Map Mode, and Comp Mode.

Chart Mode is a FREE traditional calculator that allows for a complete solution. Solutions include considerations for gyroscopic drift, Coriolis effect, wind influence, shot angle, atmospheric conditions, and more. Chart Mode also allows FREE integration of the WeatherFlow products! Note: Only 1 custom rifle can be built in the free version.

Map Mode is part of the premium upgrade that allows users to range targets by dropping pins on satellite imagery of a shooting location. Range and solution are displayed by tapping on the target pins. Map Mode also introduces external ballistic data overlays on satellite imagery. These overlays display a bullet's performance along it's path according to parameters specified for each rifle profile. It is our hope that this will assist the hunter with creating safe and ethical shots in the field as well as assisting competitive shooters with markers such as trans-sonic break over point.

Comp Mode is part of the premium upgrade and allows the user to enter a course of fire with multiple targets with unique variables such as shot angle and shot azimuth. This is inspired by top PRS shooters and will continue to evolve beyond this first offering.

Great app

Great app as long as you configure it correctly I’ve had no issue with it! Thanks keep up the good work!

I Dont Know
toolong4u

Easy to use but its not the best app. When you ask the ballistitician tech questions he tells you its your poor fundalmentals thats causing your errors... then says its the meter and later says it could be the scope and then blames the temperature effecting DA... all kinds of things and is never an app problem... so I DONT KNOW!

My go to system

On my iPhone 8+ with the hand held weatherflow meter I am set. Has not let me down. Easier to use than a kestrel and throws all the information at me I need to dial an accurate solution.

Wonderful

Quality product and company. There are several other Ballistic Apps out there that do similar things. This one just does them better with some unique features. Plus the owners are super helpful if you have problems as you learn how the App functions!

Has potential.

So far while playing with the app it has potential. The free version gives you one rifle set. It starts out as a 6.5 Creedmoor but that can be changed. The set up is a little confusing but in working with it it may sort itself out. But could be better. The map feature is a very neat feature and seems to be very accurate. I pulled up the range I go to and know the distances to targets and this seemed to measure it quite accurately. Here is the issue I have and why 2 stars. It cost 15 bucks - it could be worth it if the map itself was accurate and up to date. My outdoor range goes out to 1200 yards and has a covered shooting area the length of a football field and has been that way at least since I have been a member for 4 years. The map as pictured only shows a shooting deck that is only a 1/4 of what it currently is. Indicating that the map is very out of date for that location. On a different location it seems to be about a year out of date for my actual location as I can see the neighbors are building a pool and they started that a year ago. So if you do use this app I would highly recommend before purchasing to look at all areas you may shoot or want to shoot and see if the map data is accurate. I will play with this a little more after I zero in my 338 Lapua and see how the app works. I’ll update the review then. Quick update: I just searched google maps and their map is the same out of date map for my gun range In Chapel Hill TN. Now when I look at Apple maps the map is much more up to date. But Apple maps is over 3 years out of date for where I actually live in Nashville. So maybe there is no good source for map data. So maybe not worth the 15 dollar price tag.

Please integrate an Apple Watch range card

Great app, but please give us an option to load our hold overs in comp mode to an Apple Watch. Would eliminate the need for an arm board and be wicked cool!

Disappointing all the way around

App seems to load, but product, water timer doesn’t work or connect after connecting, trouble shooting does not help and help line is DOA, don’t bother us go to our website. Wasted hours on this debacle.

All around great ballistics app

Whether hunting or long range shooting, this app is the best. I love being able to pre stage ranges when I’m out hunting an area and I can easily and quickly acquire a range based off the google map overlay. I also enjoy pre-building out stages for shooting competitions. Awesome app!

Great customer service
