You can open approximately one link and the it no longer opens unless you go to "user profile" be then click the link from the submitters profile. Love the app, but not this.

Latest update broke app

Now you can’t click to read threads or comments after you use the app for 3 minutes. Nice!

The most recent update broke the app on my iPhone 12 mini. After 4-5 posts I’m unable to open any posts. I can scroll freely and press the picture on threads, but to actually open the thread/post is impossible. I have to force close to fix and it’s only temporarily at that. Again, after opening 4-5 more posts/threads the app refuses to let me open any more. Repeat. Please fix, this is my favorite app for quite a while to where I’ve donated and purchased full version for no ads. Thanks! 5 star once fixed. Update 11/13/21 Devs fixed the bug. Back to 5 stars. BaconReader forever.

The frequency of advertisements have multiplied over the past year or so on this app. It’s almost impossible to scroll through without clicking on some random ad. Some ads you accidentally click on won’t even close. I have to force close the whole app. Deleting the app now, it’s been a good run Bacon Reader. Sorry you had to sell out so much.

PLEASE FIX THE VIDEO PLAYER

The one big issue I have with this app is that videos will only play correctly until you go full screen. It sometimes pauses sometimes doesn’t, but the really annoying thing is that th video will stop at about a third in and then it skips back and forth rapidly. It doesn’t matter if you go out of the video and back, or restarting the app, it happens ALL THE TIME. As far as ads go, I don’t think I’ve had it bad like everyone else. I only get banner ads at the bottom. It would be nice if the ads were varied. Really sick of seeing the one Snapchat rip-off constantly. It should be mandatory for a confirmation to pop up when tapping on an ad. I’ve never clicked an ad deliberately, never will, and it’s infuriating that accidentally opening one does just that. Just give me a confirmation so it doesn’t open the stupid ad in my browser.

I’ve been using this app for 3 years and it’s been good, up until recently. Videos struggle to load, constant crashing, but worst of all are the ads. Accidentally clicking on one takes you to the ad where you can’t even click out of it, I had to often completely close the app to get back in. Sad to leave this app as it was my preferred Reddit app, but it’s just ridiculous now
