Excellent app!

My biggest concern about switching from an android was losing the ability to easily listen to all of my mp3 audiobooks. This is a spectacular app. Thank you!

Buggy...playback skips back 15-30 mins sometimes..
Frehley666

I tried the free version of this app with the two book limit. This was one of the only audiobook players that went up to 3x speed and still sounded good. After a couple of books I bit the bullet and decided spend the $9 to upgrade to the “pro” version so that I could add more books. (It still shows “upgrade to pro” even after you have upgraded it) After using the app for a couple of weeks I started to notice the bugs. For one, there would be times where I would pause the book and when I came back to it sometimes it’s would jump back to 15, 20 even 30 mins or more from where I left off. So then I had skip, skip, skip forward to find where I left off. It got to the point that I was taking screenshots of my place so that if it jumped back I would at least know where I had left off. On other problem with the app is that you have to load books either through WiFi via your computer browser or from a cloud service like your google drive. And, you had to zip up your books if you want to upload more than one book at a time. Additionally, you don’t get any book cover (minor annoyance, but still), you can’t arrange your books and there is only one view so you end up with big no picture book icons in the order that you upload them. For $9 this should have all the features of the other players that are either free or priced less. The only reason I resorted to this player is that it played a decent sounding 3x playback. If you don’t listen to anything above 2.5x, I would not recommend getting this App. There are better free or lower cost apps that do a much better job.

It's a decent app that won't let you down

Hi! Love your app... but: Firstly, it's not SmartPlayer, but SmartBook -- the ?subject is likely set wrong in the source code for the feedback button. Anyway, here's the bug I wanted to report: after creating a new book by importing it via WiFi, I can't see it listed even after the app said it was a success. It appears after I maximize and then minimize the currently playing book. It's likely a one-liner, just need to make the list view refresh once the upload is done. Thank you for the app once again! P.S. This review was originally an email, but it failed to reach your mailbox.

Nice app

Another app that tricks you into thinking it's free

Then stops you in your tracks and forces you to buy it to actually use it.

Only easy way to import Audio Books
Roxbury Software

I can't believe this app is the only easy way to import audio books. I don't really have a chance to use iTunes and don't really understand how to add files with it without having a 'sync' mess up my other stuff. I use Podcasting apps and the one I use even though I have paid, it only allows me to upload 2Gb total. I just bought an audio book from a site that sells various digital products so doesn't have an app and the book isn't in the public domain. So how do I listen on my iPhone?!?!? A search pulled up various Audio Book apps but none said you could import.... except this awesome app. I downloaded it and tried to import my file. It was so big and taking so long I thought it wasn't working. Eventually it did upload. I was so happy. I sent the developer a note about adding FLAC support and a progress indicator and heard back within hours that he would add those features on the next upgrade. How about that for service? Needless to say I bought the upgrade and I haven't even listened to the book I put on yet. But I can't wait to....

Amazing player!
CTArmyWife

This audiobook player is probably the best option out there to just play your own books from your personal library. It is simple to use, quick to load from multiple locations, and works well.

Junk
Frogmoss

Makes you wait for the book to download from the cloud then the book never shows up in app...

Great Useful App
Austin Peek

Intuitive and simple to use. Easy to import from Documents, Google Drive and iCloud. Though wish I didn’t have to zip the audiobooks beforehand. My one suggestion would be a sleep timer. I know it’s in the description, but I can’t find it within the app. Keep up the good work!
