When are you going to update the iOS app? The interface is dated and the connectivity initialization is unstable. This VPN is expensive. It’s more so than much of the competition, but is consistently the only working app in Mainland.

It says connected, but not working actually. So have to disconnect and reconnect again every time. And often progress bar shows forever even after forced to relaunch the app. Really annoying on iPhone.

I mean the desktop app is decent, but the iPhone app is a useless pile of flaming crap. Hardly ever works, and usually only after having to filter through a couple dozen locations because they don’t bother to check which ones work. And then, you get 5, maybe 10 minutes tops before it stops due to some ‘internal error’. Sure glad I only need one for another 6 months because I would never renew my plan with them!

I live in China, so this has been a lifesaver when my other options failed, and it’s fairly easy to use as well as having a different options to try out should something not work right at a given moment. It works great on every device I use it for (Windows PC, iPad, android phone), and it’s set up in a way where I can just turn it on and not think about it for the most part. Facebook, Youtube, Google, everything I love using, I can use without the hassle again.

I paid 888rmb (137usd) per year to subscribe but the app is getting more and more unstable in China. Almost got kicked off every 3 minutes. Please do something to approve the user experience. Much appreciated.

I’ve only been asked 100 times to review Astrill so since it’s not working currently, now seems like the best time. When it works, it works good. When it freezes, it freezes your entire phone.Most VPNs have trouble in China and this one seems better than most , don’t think that It will be trouble free.

Please beware that there are many problems with this service and it does not work as advertised. Additionally, they have a policy for not providing refunds.

For over the last six months I’ve been getting asked to rate them. Probably best that Astrill doesn’t ask. Astrill is basically the only option that is useable in China ??. But the connectivity is getting worse and the costumer support doesn’t understand. They make me feel like I’m the only one having issues. It looks like they don’t read their own reviews. DON’T MISLEAD COSTUMERS INTO SAYING IT WORKS IN CHINA ??. It is very unstable. It was working fine 4 months ago. It has been horrible in the last two months.
