Difficult to close vpn

Very hard to close the vpn through the app or in the system setting in ios, and it brings a lot of inconvenience. Please fix this problem!!

This app is officially s#%*t in mainland china. Hardly ever connects now. Don’t waste your money.
Works, but differently across platforms

Astrill works great at what it was created for: secure, anonymous web browsing. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that the app needs an overhaul on the iOS and iPadOS. I use this app on my android phone, MacBook, iPhone, and iPad. It irks me to no end that the quality of the app is so low on the iPhone and iPad, but quite good on the others.

Astrill is a really good VPN it’s the best I have ever used here in china,but recently am having a trouble login,it keeps loading,don’t know what’s the problem,it will be great if you fix it as soon as possible..
Great for iPhone, but for Mac still need to impove

The app for iPhone is great, but the one for Mac is always having issues with continually disconnecting connection. Yet, as many others wrote its the only VPN which really does work in China and which works much better than others paid and free ones.

Well, this could be the best VPN I have ever used in PRC, if not all the error messages I receive everyday. Comparing to the Android version, this app is way too simple, and TBF too basic in terms of interface, functionality and stability. It drops out from time to time with “unknown errors”, it will show “IPC error” whenever I initiate the app, so I have to kill it and reboot the app to solve the problem. A waiting screen might solve the problem if the background prep work is not done, right? I will keep using it, as the things behind this rusty app is great, but for this app? Please be diligent and update it, it’s almost been a year now!

Although I like this VPN for its speed and other aspects, the application itself needs huge updates. Sometimes it’s stuck on connect screen and there is no way to go back to normal even if you quit the app. I often have to reinstall or offload the app to get it back to normal. Second, there are issues when you are trying to connect while on cellular network. There are lots of errors and logouts. I suggest to regularly update the all. On the Windows version they have fixed some issues in the latest release. Oh yes, I have conveyed these concerns to the customer service before without any luck.
