Awesome App!!
Piano4u

I love being able to share apps I'm designing with potential clients and get feedback. This is the best app combo there is.

Works as advertised
MacHead67

This is a great app for viewing UI designs created by its companion app.

Excellent addition to App Cooker
Rjvinay

This App solved my problem of how to allow my peers to test the app I created on App Cooker before I took it to the developer! I am sure there can be more improvements to being the mockup to life which the development team is working on but for now this is the best app out there which allows you to test a mockup on various devices.

Dropbox
EvilMinion

It really needs Dropbox support. Their AppCooker app exports the stuff to it. Why doesn't this app import it?!

Huh
Acctman

I don't see a purpose for this app. AppCooker needs a lot more features and not these other apps that take away from the focus of the app.

Does exactly what it needs to.
TJ U

The point of this app, as I understand it, is to be a FREE means to 'play' AppCooker files. Clients and friends should NOT need to pay to test run the mockup. It does this just fine.

App crashes after most recent update to AppCooker
retro93277

App crashes after most recent update to AppCooker . I imported app taster file from dropbox to app taster and when I try to play , it just crashes to home screen. I tried it several ways import by an email, Dropbox etc.. Still crashes . Not sure if it's just me or others having the same issue. Oh yeah this is for the iPad version. iPhone version works fine. My AppCooker file is about 30mb in size and it was opening fine In AppTaster before the most recent update to AppCooker. ( with the exception of a pop up box that said imported older version ) but that pop up box does not come up with the new version of AppTaster. Please fix or let me know if it's my iPad that is having issues. Thanks

Crashing after latest update
GTN310

Great tool but it's crashing after latest update. Crashing on iPhone and iPad. Won't play the files created in updated app cooker. The team is great and responsive do lets hope they get this fixed ASAP. To the app taster team: can you post an update on this issue on your blog. Thank you.

Hiding links?
Yapple

In App Cooker when you hide links they simply go invisible, which makes for a much cleaner presentation of a mock-up. Not so on App Taster. Hiding links turns them off completely, which renders the mock up pretty near useless. So the only option I see is to play the mocks with links showing, which is a cluttered mess if the screen has a lot of buttons. I have to give it two stars because I just wouldn't recommend this to clients.

Very helpful
A Tiny Owl

We shared our mockups using App Taster and Dropbox with one of our clients. This allowed our client to play with our app design very quickly. Their feedback on the design allowed us to avoid some major code refactoring. Money well spent. I recommend other iOS devs give the paid version a try.
