I like the concept of the app in general, but was totally unaware that apartment complexes could just contact you if you “liked” them when they popped up. I must have swiped through 30 some listings in a short period of time and now I have a ton of emails from apartment managers to talk about touring. It’s a decent idea, but I wish I could turn this feature off or have more say in whether I wanted that complex to contact me or not. Maybe I just need to read the terms of the app better, but I wasn’t expecting this. I just wanted to look at apartments, not be contacted. ??♀️

If you want to get a bunch of texts, emails, and calls from people trying to scam you this is the app for you. I was looking forward to using this app since it separates listing based on preference but 95% of the phone numbers and emails i contacted were scammers asking for deposits with fake stories about how they urgently left and they'll sent you the keys right away. I called 15-20 places and so far most of them were fake or weren't even available. You can tell by the pictures uploaded they are scams. If they fixed this issue and vetted places this app would be great. DONT SEND ANYBODY A DEPOSIT , YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.

This is a really great app! I was able to find what I was looking for so easily, and I like the commute feature! It helped me pick the apartment I wanted, based off where my child’s daycare is located. Thanks guys!

Just show me a list; I don’t want your spam!! I deleted it rather than play that game. And you can’t even give it fake stuff - it checks and demands a *valid* phone number, and sends a code to the email to “verify it’s you.” Go pound sand; I just want to see a list of nearby apartments! I don’t want your spam, and I certainly don’t want the spam of whoever you sell that information to! If I could give it 0 stars I would. The multitude of 5 star ratings makes me suspect it’s a helpful tool if you’re willing to part with your privacy, but it’s useless and infuriating if you (like me) are not. Guess I really do finally need to update my phone so I can go back to apartments.com!
Concept is nice, but bad execution

This app is easy to set up, but unfortunately the way it goes about searching for apartments is awful. I could set my apartment/house preferences to allow pets, and set my rent budget, and yet this app seems to ignore my rental budget and the fact that I have 2 cats who need a place to live too. So I just deleted this app because it’s not helping my apartment search if it’s just showing me listings that I can’t afford or don’t allow pets.
