Antenna client for reddit is free iOS app published by Alistair Leszkiewicz
Definitely my favorite reddit app, but is constantly crashing or not even opening anymore.
Not willing to wait any longer for them to fix the glitches. See ya’.
Used to love this app. Always crashes. This is the third time I’ve uninstalled and installed the app.
Whatever update they just released is a disaster. Takes forever to load and crashes two or three times before I can get to Reddit. It crashes literally every time you switch apps. Follow a link and it is at least a minute to get back to where you were. It is completely unusable.
I finally made the switch to another reddit client (Apollo: I did not like it upon its initial release, but now it seems the better option of Antenna and the Reddit app). Antenna, even with all its bugginess, has been acceptable for the past couple of years. Unfortunately, with the latest update, the app crashes when opened, and has to be reopened to be prompted with a box to “send report,” where you’re also given the option to “always send [report]”. The latter option doesn’t even work, which leads me to believe that no reports are ever sent. Subreddits that I have already seen no longer show up purple, which makes it impossible to see new posts. I have been loyal until now, but this was the breaking point. Long live amrc
The app was crashing and taking a long time to load, but after deleting and reinstalling it is working like it did before. Thanks!
This app used to be the best due to it’s smart interface and ability to load up multiple threads when you know you are about to lose service (subway). It also used to be fast and snappy. However over the last year or so it’s gotten more and more sluggish to load. Now it takes ages to load just to crash; if I am finally able to get it open it seems okay but that’s not even guaranteed. The app takes about 15-20 seconds to start up on my X and it always has a pop up saying it unexpectedly quit and to send logs, which I always do. It’s like the only issue but it’s a serious one.
I have to start the app 2x cause it pretty much always crashes the 1st time through.
After the An absolute horrible experience with previous update I can now use this app again. Honestly this one has this best interface imo
This app is the best and worst app for me. Hands down the best for navigating, swipes are just too convenient. No other app does navigation like antenna. But the problem with this app is stability, one update will just cause constant crashes. I have to keep updating my rating. This is a 1 star app at its worst and a 5 at its bests. Stop making production the qa environment.
